The drug tales really should have a thread of there own or a sub forum, next thing there'll be someone bringing up post after post on stolen cars and engine sizes etc.
Mods really need to clean this up.

I see Paddy Curtis and his brother were lifted over this plot to kill patsy hutch, I'd be fairly familiar with both those lads. Paddy been doing his own thing for years and cleaning up, hes close to Brian O Reilly and Derek McLoughlin. I'm surprised they got involved.

Clearing up or living beyond his means leading to paying off his debts in unsavory circumstances?

Money most likely. They probably didn't think for a minute they would be caught.

Myself and ALL my mates would have been using sniff since 16/17.We woudl all be in our 40s now and the only one that has any ill effects was a lad who abused juice for about 6/7 years. He had to get his heart valve replaced.
Theres PLENTY of people who have used coke all their lives and never had any ill effects from it.That is not to promote the drug as id advise people to stay away from drugs but back in the day drugs were very much the norm in my circles.
Theres also a different between users, some lad will go out ona friday and be on the sniff all weekend mixed with ,smokes, booze and anything else they get their hands on which is obviously alot more detrimnetal to your ticker but then theres lads who have the odd line watching the ball on a saturday and pack up at midnight.

The damage to your heart is cumulative over many years but theres also exceptions, some have underlying heart conditions and weak hearts in general.A long session would show this up.

Also agree, while theres a lull,i dont see any problems with people telling their drug tales of past years.Ive seen in other threads theres no fuel to keep the main subject going and the thread dies out.

Just skip the drug talk if its not interesting to you,you can tell within a second if a post is drug related.

Do your pals still take a cheeky dabble now and then as a few on here have said people should have knocked it on the head when they hit 40? Coming from my own experience i'm surprised there has been no serious nasal damage done to some.

I don't know him, hes not a brother of jay anyway but they could be related.

Is your condition directly from coke?

My cardiologist certainly thinks so.. He said i actually have a strong heart and is one of the reasons I'm recovering.. Thing is prolonged coke use can really exacerbate other conditions such as high blood pressure which then cause secondary underlying issues. Most of the time there is no side affects at all

It is worrying the volumes of people using it without any regard for the long terms affects. Its definitely been normalised in society to a very high degree and a lot of people never think its dangerous

I ended up on a few sessions with Mickser. Last time i saw him he was been escorted out of the Mother Kellys/74 Talbot by the Old Bill around 3 o clock on a midweek day few months back. Never met Jay. The two lads up in Louth were sorry they ever did.

Are they both North Inner City boys?? I thought they'd be under the Hutch banner all these years..

Wasn't the Thompson brothers from Finglas involved in that? Anyway the house they smashed the windows was Anthony 'The Boxer' Fitzgeralds gaf. I think Anthony has been targeted three times at this stage, badly sliced up on Henry St and Parnell St. Hutchs and Fitzgeralds very close and ran the old Dublin Supporters Club on Parnell St.

Didn't he box the ears off a couple of them too a few times?? Tough nut all the same.

Thanks for that, interesting to know.

What was your usage? Like weekends or midweek etc?

Being from the North Inner City, unfortunately for the Hutchs, didnt afford them any loyalty as far as quite a few lads were concerned. Its what tipped the feud in one sides favour. Lads like Fox, Cumberton and Keogh were quite happy to kill lads they grew up with for filthy lucre so it shouldn't come as any surprise that a few more have been apprehended in doing the same. Every one of them will be banged away for a long time
    and for what?

I dont think the Hutches thought so much of the north inner city would turn against them.

Spot on. Thats what suprprised me too. They hadnt a chance really. They couldn't reverse it and pay even one person to do the same on the southside. What chance did they have when their own turned over money?

But its different now. There are so many locked up. There is not an infinite amount of ready, willing hitmen to continue targeting the Hutchs.

It's awful yeah first off, but I agree it's fuelled by people doing coke which is a sub topic.
    My raw opinion?
Some people need to be taken out of circulation by a Gangland shooting, which is a horrible way to look at things but its what is. But digressing the topics to Billy big ball I used to do this I used to do that, is that on topic?

Gangland shootings, Gangland crimes is the thread. That's all I'm saying.

Fair enough but i dont think any one on here is being billy big ball i really dont. Anyway im tired already of the constant bitching over sweet feck all. Im out.

Did Gary have a lot of clout in the North Inner City? I know he spent a lot of time abroad but for so long the Hutches were feared more than they were respected I would think. But somewhere along the line they lost the fear factor in that area and I don't know was it when Gary was killed or after the Regency that it happened.

You would have to admire the likes of Mago's loyalty to the Hutches.
