Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Offside line clearly not where I understand it to be

Pat on the head for Sinckler. Keep needling him, he could lose it.

Or turn the scrum around and they react perfectly in the scrum.

    England permanently offside.

I know it’s not reffed much anyway but England are really taking the piss with the offside line.

How come Phipps isn't starting? Thought he was more in form that Genia

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,981 ✭✭✭Naggdefy

    England a bit under cooked?

Hopefully a sign of things to come in our game.

Why is Youngs still starting? He's probably the worst scrum half still in the tournament.

Here are my unsolicited rankings based on world cup form:

    1. DuPont
    2. Davies
    3. Nagare
    4. Murray
    5. Smith
    6. De Klerk
    7. Genia
    8. Youngs

They just haven't really had the ball. Hard to judge.

Give Australia our half backs and they'd be proper contenders. No ability to do the sensible thing when needed.

Well that in itself is evidence. Also messed up in a carry.

That ball looked out there. England fortunate

That was clearly an England wheel.

You mean Nic White? Seemed Genia is preferred over him now. I’d have started white but it seems Oz are looking to keep tempo high and not kick as much so Genia probably more suited to that.

Watson is quietly one of the best wingers in the world.

I know he was a Lion but I think a lot of people have forgotten about him with all of his injuries.

I hope he gets a good run this year.

Slade was held there. Didn't see him release the ball when he tried to get up and go again.

Twice Aussie caught short out wide.

Wishful thinking on my part. They're warming into it very well now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Brilliant try. The handling and decoys in midfield are incredibly slick and seamless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,246 ✭✭✭✭Hurrache

That try in that corner should have come a few phases ago, they had the overlap then too but bashed into the tackle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

    It's not really fair.

They'll marmalade you up front but still have the skills to fling the ball wide.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,279 ✭✭✭✭MadYaker

    I forgot about this guy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,816 ✭✭✭✭bilston

Watson is looking a handful and Tuilagi is making his presence felt in midfield now.

Unbelievable. Sloppy passing and you're under your sticks at the other end.

Disaster from an Australian point of view.

    England are looking strong.

Jones' call to drop Ford for Slade looking like a stroke of genius.

Itoje interfering with Genia just before the intercept. Got away with one there

England looking like overall winners beast u up front and out wide. Natural order, numbers wise really been a long journey to get to this point, but can see them dominating the rugby landscape

I don't think England have significantly better players than us but we look like we play in a straitjacket compared to them.

Genia’s fault. Had hands on the ball for ages.

Can’t believe he wasn't pinged for that.

Terrible attempt at an offload from from Pocock
