Dan Biggar wasn't looking too wrappy there was he.

Was it the TMO or the touch judge that intervened on the knock on? Amazing it was missed in the first place.

Think Poite just saw it on the big screen and corrected himself.

This is bollocks. Not a penalty for me.

Seems a complete lottery what the TMO might decide to pick up on in a match.

Ah this is bollix. That's just normal impact. Rugby is becoming soft

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,980 ✭✭✭Lucy8080

Tbh ,I wouldn't even give a penalty for that one.

Jesus Sean O'Brien wouldn't have had a career if this is a penalty. Shocking.

  • Registered Users Posts: 740 ✭✭✭damianmcr

Was he meant to put his arm behind his back ffs. Soft.

Itv saying no wonder Patchell went over. He's half his size is why ffs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,047 ✭✭✭Bazzo

He'd just caught the ball, think that's harsh.

    Engrossing game!

What a half. Has to be the best game so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

Bull****. Wasn't a penalty against Hooper at the ruck earlier either where Wales scored 3. Wales getting a helping hand here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,283 ✭✭✭✭MadYaker

This is a waste of time nothing wrong with that

  • Administrators Posts: 54,184 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Hooper is spot on there. This is rubbish.

He's right. Terrible tackle technique. He just stood there and out himself in danger.

    Refs have been absolute dirt

Hahaha. Hooper has a fair point, it was terrible tackling technique.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,049 ✭✭✭blackwhite

Hooper dead right - terrible tackle technique and Aussies get punished for it

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,980 ✭✭✭Lucy8080

Natural instinct to push away with your arm after the contact. Nothing wrong with the initial contact..soft pen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Hooper saying it’s awful tackling technique, same lad shoulder charged Biggar earlier.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,456 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

Michael Hooper is 100% right IMO.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

They should have stepped down further once it wasn’t direct contact

Kearney gets a hit to the eye, has to go off and crickets and this bull**** is awarded a penalty.

Getting extremely fed up with this wildly inconsistent refereeing.

    Good refereeing there.

    Brilliant from Wales.

    Didn't see this coming

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,049 ✭✭✭blackwhite

Surely offside - miles ahead of the line

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,231 ✭✭✭A-Train

    Breakaway intercept try to Wales.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,456 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

How can he have been onside at the breakdown?

Australia were away there down the wing before Poite blows up. Game swung completely the other way now.

    Intercept has been coming.

Ya he has been watching out for them. Would like to see another angle on if he came from an inside position though.

Once he caught the ball serious pace to score

  • Subscribers Posts: 41,942 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

That's the problem with a scrum half taking a step before the pass.... Davies read it perfectly

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,283 ✭✭✭✭MadYaker

Aussies will be raging with that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Not just that but wildly inconsistent TMO interference

    Well, that half flew by!

Worst thing is we have to put up with the Michael Cheika moany face.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Baffled as to how Poite didn't ask to check the offside. He might well have been onside but he was so far ahead and started his run from deep early that there's a decent chance he wasn't.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,458 ✭✭✭kuang1

I feel for OZ now... Was neutral at the start of this one, just hoping for some good entertainment. (and it is)
But I'm shouting for the Aussies in the 2nd half now.

And that's nothing to do with Wales, just coz of the officiating.

    Fukkkking shocking.
