Over the last few weeks I have had a form of eczema on my eyelids
I've tried Sillicoks base, Skin food by Weleda, simple eye cream and no improvement.

Any suggestions of what might help? It's starting to get me down because the flakiness is more obvious.

Try cerave moisturising cream - it comes in a big tub, but you can buy a small tube of it for about €5 on lookfantastic, if you want to trial it first. It’s also widely available in pharmacies. Cerave also make a moisturising lotion which has similar ingredients but lighter in texture, which you might find more comfortable around the delicate skin of the eye. And they also have a dedicated facial moisturiser which contains niacinamide (another ingredient which has shown to be quite beneficial to the skin, https://www.google.ie/amp/s/www.self.com/story/what-niacinamide-can-do-for-your-skin/amp)

All their are moisturisers are fantastic for dry skin - fragrance free, contain ceramides, hylaronic acid, natural moisturing factors.

As an aside, don’t buy their dedicated eye repair cream, as I watched a review on YouTube which said it contained essential oils, which can be irritating to the skin (which was kind of a strange move to put these ingredients in a product designed to be used around the eye, but I digress).

Both the moisturising cream and lotion (which doesn’t contain niacinamide) come in a range different sizes from tubes to tubs to bottles, and are perfectly safe to use all around the body, even around the eyes.
