It's not racist to tell people who have immigrated to a country (and who won't stop complaining about that country) to go and fix the issues with the countries from which they came and then come back and tell us how it's done.

Now this is where the argument keeps getting switched to: but most of them were born in blah blah blah....... but you see, while that is true, that just makes Trump misinformed, at worst, it does not make him racist.

Given how much he has doubled down on his remarks, and how his base have reacted to them, that interpretation is either deluded or in bad faith.

Even the one of those women who is an immigrant, Omat, arrived to the US as young child. She has spent most of her life in the US. It's not the same as an adult immigrant moaning about a place they chose to live in.

All the comments I have seen from his base support him not approving of the chant.... and so the reaction from his base so far supports my contention, not yours.

Aye, but she identifies as a Somali refugee and campaigns for lenient sentencing for ISIS recruits, so understandable for him, in my view, to see her as someone who came from another country.

As for Tlaib, she's another who seems to speak in a way which it could be excused if someone felt she was an immigrant. "I’m more Palestinian in the halls of Congress than I am anywhere in the world. I’m going to be a voice for them".

As I said before, all this pointing out of why Trump was wrong to suggest thrt the congresswomen came here as adults does is make a good case for saying that what he said made no damn sense, but that's all it does! It doesn't, however, make a good case for claiming he's a racist.

You know Trump would say the same about those women if they were white South African or white Polish immigrant congresswomen. This constant playing of the race card needs to stop. You can't even say he's a xenophobe as he married two immigrants.

If all this continues for another 16 months, 2020 will be a cake walk for him.

And is your hope for him to be win or lose in 2020?

I have to wonder what happened to people like you to make you the way you are? Trump supporters started out life like all of us but something(s) happened to them along the way to make them buy into the racism, mysogony, bullying, conspiracy theory laden ramblings, never ending lies and chaos that represent the Trump presidency. The hate of your fellow man and cognitive dissonance that comes off some of the posts here is a sight to behold.

You mean you are unable to refute any of the posts here using logic so you're reduced to name calling whilst referring to yourself as 'all of us'..hiding in the crowd using your yellow stripes as camouflage.

    😂

Thank heavens for The Squad... Cortez, Omar, Tlaib and Pressley… Oh, my! Yes, they are pretty irrelevant to the bigger political picture but the more everyone’s talking about them the less they’re talking about Biden, Harris, Warren, or any of the other unfortunate democrat candidates. They are helping to make the election a fight between capitalism and socialism… at a time when the economy is booming and unemployment is at its lowest. The Squad is unpopular with the majority of Americans and even within their own party. Pelosi must be pulling her hair out. I bet she wishes she could shut them up, but Trump efforts to keep them in the news forces her to defend them, which puts them right back into the spotlight. They are a gift to Trump’s reelection.

You can ignorantly accuse me of "whataboutism," but what it really is involves identifying similar scenarios in order to see if it holds up when the shoe is on the other foot!

Was only scanning through Twitter at lunch, but has something big come out about the bigamist in the squad today??

Apparently the media, democrats and liberals are taking a hear no evil, see no evil and speak no evil approach. The usual racist screeching accusations can be heard. Laws... they don't heed no stinkin' laws.

Not the only time irony was lost on one of the four horsewomen of the apocalypse, here's Tlaib being removed from an event where Trump was speaking and calling other people crazy :P

    Fair play to her.

The desperation that drives some to buy into this sort of guff is a head scratcher. It’s pizzagate level idiocy.

Yeah, fair play to the Congresswoman who lied about her residency in sworn documents in order to run for the Michigan House of Representatives, lied about her primary residency in order to claim an illegal tax allowance for her home, and aided and abetted illegal aliens in violating immigration laws. That’s the darlings of the democrat party… someone who should be behind bars but rather collecting a $174,000 public salary. Her campaign slogan should be… Laws are for thee, not for me.

Yeah, wouldn't surprise me if that is Trump's goal, make these socialist idiots as famous possible so they get supported and then the electorate at large will judge the whole democratic party by the words and deeds of the squad.

I’m claiming to have at least a modicum of critical faculties. This idiocy requires abandonment of any to buy into.

For America I hope he wins.

    Of course he will win.

Creepy Joe and the Senile Socialist have no chance.

We need a leader like Trump in Ireland too..put all these traitors in their place.

    Evidence for this claim?

Bearing in mind the "idiocy" was started by the congresswomen refusing to condemn an attack on an ICE facility..the "critical faculties" brigade forgot that pretty quick so they could pile in to President Trump and by default anybody who supports him.

i'm still waiting on just one example of where Donald trump discriminated against anybody on grounds of race...since asking the question I have been called a racist tens of times myself...it's like trying t o reason with a bunch of autistic spectrum sufferers.

    You're ignorant for certain.
She didn't answer an ALT-Right 'reporter' when asked. That's not supplying the guy with incendiary devices.
This name calling, twisting and lying is an accepted con job now. Trump has sullied the U.S. It was never that clean to begin with.
The clear thing is the Republicans have no level to which they won't stoop. Everybody knows it and the con that it's in anyway legitimate to behave in such a manner is not being bought by people. They either are okay with Trump's racism or they are not.

The attack on the building by a third party had nothing to do with her martial status. But thanks for the inept attempt at distraction.

Sounds pretty tame compared to those in the White House. Are these like the Omar brother claims? Completely without any evidence?

Oh the Irexit lad. They made up fake candidates for a local election right?

Seems like he would be the hero these lads want.

The incident was really big news and was all over all the major news sites....oh wait it wasnt because it was someone on the same ideological side as most of the mainstream media, if the guy was right wing you would not hear the end of it, also he could have hurt many illegal immigrants that where being held in those facilities. Those four women are extreme far-left obsessed with Marxist theory and identity politics which is why Trump is trying make them the face of the democrats by drawing attention to them as he knows it will turn off voters. Even Nancy Polosky had issues with them.

Nope - he’s the National Party lad - Patrick Pearse cosplay in miniature scale, and closeted homophobia to the max.

How so, do you mean that the man(Antifa) did not really attack an ICE facility, carry a gun and throw incendiary devices or are you talking about something else?
