Check out the Michigan indictments - nothing related to ACCESS. I note that you didn’t even attempt to provide evidence for this bit of fiction.

The taxes were in the Dearborn house, and were paid by Tlaib’s husband - who had incorrectly filled in the form. The house was registered as a rental property, and the tax break was worth $350 annually. It takes a special kind of desperation to try and paint that as criminal activity. 😂😂

Tlaib was registered as an owner of the Detroit property and broke no law in declaring it as her electoral residency - there’s no minimum residency stipulation.
It seems you think democrats are okay with breaking the law as long as they pay up ONCE THEY GET CAUGHT.

You can ignorantly accuse me of "whataboutism," but what it really is involves identifying similar scenarios in order to see if it holds up when the shoe is on the other foot!

Which one could be called racist?

If the accusation that the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino had to pay a $200,000 fine because it transferred black and women dealers off tables to accommodate a big-time gambler’s prejudices..... then that absolutely was racist.

The rest of the bollox it that article is just that, bollox.

Suggesting he called all Mexican immigrants rapists and that that there were “some very fine people” among the white supremacists are two things that aren't bollox though, they're just lies.

He referred to Mexican rapists as rapists and went out of his way to make it clear that the white supremacists was not who here was referring to with that comment:
"You also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.

"I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally."

People really need to stop repeating these lies, or linking to articles that repeat them.

The point - once again, is that she hasn’t broken any law. You made false claims that she did. And I’ve pointed out that they’re false.

Yeah, its just coincidental that he was taken to court twice over discrimination in properties he ran, that he made racist remarks re four congresswomen, and all the rest.

Not one of you have answered my question .

Then i'm told that it wasn't actual racism it was implicit racism...this sounds like one of the communist-era show trials or an interview with the Gestapo : "You didn't actually insult the leader,no but you were wearing red..that implies you were planning to take up arms against the people"

Dangerous talk..it could we be you and the rest of "we" facing trial for something you didn't actually say but you were denounced for it because you weren't liked.

Socialism has form in that regard..be careful what you wish for.

Yes. It's been referenced many many times...BLM don't like it because it goes against their narrative that all Cops are White Devils.

In fairness, maybe the Donald was afraid of waking up with a horse's head in his bed :p

The discrimination fine resulted from the Trump casino's efforts to please Robert LiButti, a Secaucus racehorse consultant who lost millions of dollars at the tables and sometimes claimed connections with reputed Gambino family boss John Gotti. LiButti already had cost Caesars Atlantic City Hotel and Casino a $250,000 fine. The DGE is seeking to ban him permanently from the casinos because of his alleged insistence on having only white male dealers, his racial slurs and alleged mob ties.

Have you told the police? Just wondering why she's not been arrested like.

She's already been exposed and fined. Rashida Tlaib broke state and federal law by lying about her address to run for office. Michigan law maintains that state representatives must live in the district they represent, and federal law holds that a person who lies about their address on voter registration forms can be prosecuted. "Registering to vote using a false address” is one of a number of crimes that fall into the voter fraud category. “Providing false information concerning an individual’s name, address, or period of residence in order to register to vote, or to vote in a federal election (52 U.S.C. §§ 10307(c) and 20511).” Talib claimed a 100% personal residence exemption for the Detroit home they live in and a rental property they own in Dearborn. You can only claim one primary residence. She got caught and had to pay back taxes and fines. I guess we should be okay if Democrats break the law as long as they pay the fines ONLY WHEN THEY GET CAUGHT.

You can ignorantly accuse me of "whataboutism," but what it really is involves identifying similar scenarios in order to see if it holds up when the shoe is on the other foot!

lol. Yes, Odhinn, we have been over it, but not sure why you would think that those with your contention have proven it's the correct one, you haven't.

I have posted extensively showing that Trump has never shied away from non-whites and how many of his actions since his inauguration have been of benefit to them........ not to mention specifically pointing out how and why his tweets cannot not reasonably be considered to be racist.

Quote me and rebut those arguments if you wish but merely saying "we've been over this" doesn't cut it.

I know on other parts of Boards that's been the way and it's been enabled to a large extent, given the ratio of liberals to non-liberals, but am hoping here in the Current Affairs forum things will be a little more balanced and less reliant on backslap count to determine which user is right or wrong.

She wasn’t fined. Her husband paid the debt and made a contribution to a charity. The issue never went before any court. It was a trivial amount, and the county acknowledged that mistakes happen. There was precisely zero evidence of malice.

The electoral home address was not a ‘false address’ - no claim of fraud has been brought against Tlaib.

So - once again - no law was broken by Tlaib.

They got caught. Plain and simple. Everyone knows you can't claim two primary residences on your taxes. And if, which is a huuuge if, she and her husband didn't know it then she has no place being in our Congress which creates these laws.
