I just got my licence and am trying to figure out insurance so i know what care i can afford. I have got a few quotes but the price is crazy. What makes no sense is having 1 year named driving experience i can get a quote of 1200 but since I only have 8 months experience it is 2300.

I was wondering what my options are. CAn i pay monthly for the 2300 hundred policy and cancel after 4 months so i only pay them 600 quid? This is with liberty.

I see the companies like AXA with the app that tracks your driving. I expect I would get a bad score on these as all my driving is on back roads with tight corners and a lot of cases you need to break harshly due to unforseen circumstances. If i have already paid my entire premium up front what are the punishments AXA can give me.

Can they cancel my policy? Do i get my money back if they do?

    Thanks in advance.
