    A nice and easy stage for the riders to get back into the swing of things after the rest day. The winner should come from a big bunch sprint. I haven't read anywhere that crosswinds may be an issue.

    Rick Zabel (Katusha) is not starting today (flu). Just six riders have abandoned the race leaving 18 teams with their full compliments of eight riders.
