That turned out to be a lot more work than I expected. Please do share your feedback!

A few thoughts from my perspective:

• Allowable length of lines should be defined clearly by the OP
• Add some incentive to use unique song lyrics
• Tighten up the genre or year or something along those lines
• Think of a way to run it without breaking the 'Thanks' page
• Get titles and artists in your submissions so you provide a full songlist at the end

I didn't get titles from everyone, so I don't have the songlist unfortunately. Something else to include for the next game.

But Google is now OPEN!

Good idea for a game -It might be another game altogether if the host gives out say ten lines and the participants have to guess the title and artist - a bit like name that tune but slower.:o Or ten lines of songs with a missing word(s) in each line - and the participants have to fill in the blanks (you could Sheep or Peehs that one)

I don't think it needs much tinkering, couple of ideas...

- have number of words as a tie breaker, fewest wins. That should keep the length down without needing to define anything

- duplicate entries I'd just dock one mark per duplicate, that's enough to move people in the table (or maybe - 1 for the same song, - 2 for the same line)

If it's not a line I've belted out in the car/kitchen to sing along with the radio then I just won't know it :pac:

I'm not very good at knowing names of songs/artists so if you didn't post the chorus or a well known singalong line, I was lost.

Could maybe limit each player to 10 words max. The tie breaker idea is good though.
