1989 number plates

Does anyone know what colour and font was used on the number plates of new cars in 1989. What was the common style? Thanks in advance.

No. From 01/01/1987 it was white with black lettering all the way up to 31/12/1990 for both front and rear plates. From 01/01/1991 the current style Euro plate was introduced.
