Yeah clearly I missed that news. Just read about it now. But the whole thing looked movie like from the pedestals to the glowy uniforms

Probably a nod to both with a quickly put together cgi scene to make all shiny and glowing.

Sara is a gay character so is Batwoman might be why they shared the screen time so much

Man, all those vanilla episodes post - Crisis are going to be SO confusing.

Ok, people are still watching the crossovers, but TBH the fallout from the finale is going to effect all the individual shows' premises, so I'd argue spoiler tags mightn't be necessary. That's not official mod position BTW, just spitballing :D

I'd say keep spoiler tags until end of today and from tomorrow on it's free game.

So far the changes to the shows so far seem to be
Supergirl - Lex Luthor is a hero and owns the DEO
Arrow - John Diggle has two children , JJ and Sara
Superman and Lois (new show) - During the crossover it was shown that Clark and Lois just had one son, now they have two

    Regarding Superman
The twos sons was sorta confirmed ages ago by a press release and potentially one of them is Robin which Supes and Lois adopted as Batman is missing

To say Lex is now a hero is going a bit strong I say. He may be like the Lex in Earth 3?? who is president a hero but is really a bad guy. This is from the comics BTW

Don't think its Robin unless Bruce's son becomes Robin in the comics

He does. Damien Wayne, Bruce's son is the fourth (and current, I think) Robin in the comics.

    What I mean is that
in Earth Prime he is seen as a hero but he is the same villainous person from Earth-38

Yeah I remember that from a few weeks ago.
In the current comics , Jon Kent and Damian Wayne are known as SuperSons

    And
his mother is Talia Al Ghul who has been in Arrow already and with Bruce Wayne after disappearing in BatWoman it could make sense that he lives with Clark. But are they also going to age the kids ?

Damien lived with Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Shadows before coming to Gotham in most of his comic book origin stories.

If Lex is perceived as a hero it maybe filling the ranks for a potential Justice League arc next year

Great cameo from the Snyder universe and right choice as well for the humour.

I'm only watching Supergirl these days, and at a casual pace too, so finally got to the Part 1 of Crisis and ... uhhh... the cameos were fun but dear god it was also kinda garbage. I usually try to catch all parts, even of shows I don't watch but this time I'm not honestly bothered.

I'd never watch any of the Arrowverse expecting hard science, or even soft, but this felt like the writers simply weren't bothered even trying to maintain a sense of pacing or basic common-sense logic. Like, I'd question if they even know how large a number a billion is. :D

Here I am resurrecting another old thread but I only recently watched Infinite Crisis.

I enjoyed that they tried to make it epic but it was somewhat hindered by having all the big fights take place in quarry’s and building sites.

However the whole thing just fell apart because of Oliver’s sacrifice. They never explained these new powers to restart all of creation or where he got them from - some random character who had never appeared in any of the shows before just teaches him.

And what is the purpose of the paragons. All they do is fight the shadow soldiers (how was the paragon of humanity able to do that?) and apparently Oliver didn’t any help.

It seemed like they were just determined to copy Endgame with the original hero giving his life to put the universe back together. Just they didn’t seem to be explain why.

And apparently the whole plot was in the book of destiny but the Monitor didn’t bother to read it.
