Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How long before players throw Ole under the bus?

Ole is in the middle of a shît situation. His bosses won’t back him and the talent he does have at his disposal are not cutting the mustard bar the likes of DeGea, Wan Bissaka, Young, Maguire, Mata to an extent and James...

A thin squad is workable if it’s possible to get consistency and performance out of a hardcore group, doubt that is achievable.

This is a predominantly midfielder/defence team formation get Lingard on to add creative pace might get the ball moving into an attacking flow of play. Question is who goes off for Lingard

We could bring back Fergie and it wouldn't make a difference, club is rotten from the top.

    Jose laughing inside I'd say

    Outwardly laughing I'd say

On what planet does Andreas offer anything out wide? Put fúcking Young up on the wing and bring in Rojo LB. Andreas is as much use wide as Matic or DDG would be. He has nothing suggesting he could ever play wide.

Greenwood would be better than Rashford at this stage he is offering nothing.

At least when United play on Sundays, only the rest of Sundays is ruined.

Usually it can be the whole weekend.

Lingard the saviour, this is part of the issue, a bit of pace is literally all he contributes to the team. A poor player to be hoping he is going to change the game

We just need a new manager to bring the smiles back

    At least they're now fit.

    Jose laughing inside I'd say

Why do you always bring him up when united are losing, do you want posters to say he was the best ever and should not have been sacked? What are you trying to prove with it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,473 ✭✭✭Adamcp898

Anyone else think Jose is really trying to make the point that the players don’t know the “objective”?

He’s used that exact phrasing now 2/3 times.

I think it's relevant considering he was the one that made all this talent play badly.

not to mention the fact he's commentating on the match...

Let's put on Lee Grant up front wearing number 7 he'll be the once and future king

    Sitter missed by Mata.

Not replacing Lukaku was a shockingly bad decision amongst many such decisions over recent seasons. We have no proven goal scorer.

how did no one make a run there?

How the bastardîng fûck does he miss that , a couple of yards from goal.....jeeeeeesus. See if we actually had strikers... and look, Matic pulling out of a 50/50 challenge in midfield, just marvelous...

He's about as relevant as moyes and lvg, the other 2 who failed to stop the club going in a downward spiral before they all became irrelevant in management

I'd say the point he is making is that there were an awful lot of people around here that blamed Jose and Jose alone for the limp, pathetic, cowardly performances we saw towards the end of his tenure. He was part of the problem but only a relatively small part.

And a part of the problem that was gotten rid of, so why always bring him up. Fcuking tedious to listen to every game they struggle

AWB's tackling is a joy to watch.

  • Rashford is a disgrace

Everytime we create a chance to put it in the box he's too ****ing slow to get in there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,258 ✭✭✭✭y0ssar1an22

there are a few opportunities. just no one with the instincts of a striker to finish

He's great to watch, James exciting too.

    Other than that, no positives

I don't think anyone blamed Jose alone.

And when you needed a precise well paced ball on the deck to set up a great almost unmissable chance ? Kick it at pace into the deck and have it bobble up and it’s shanked.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,258 ✭✭✭✭y0ssar1an22

    good. get him off

Rashford injured, no striker to replace him. Comical.

If only we had a striker to sub on

Losing to West ham and no striker on the pitch, ****ing shambles.

Rashford was genuinely a 0/10 in that game

Offered absolutely nothing, injured or not

Criminal given how much he is paid

Really sad watching how this once great club has been destroyed.
More like a game at the end of the season than the start by the utd players.

Nowhere in England in the professional game is that happening. That’s how fûcking shagged this club and team is.

The idiots in charge of this club should be embarrassed right now, it was so damn obvious we needed a new striker but they failed to get one, they failed the club

Did anyone ever buy a bit of Lingard's gear? Do they like his style?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,848 ✭✭✭Julez

To be fair we have 3 players for one striker position, it's unlucky that they're all injured at once. Probably wasn't a great idea to have Rashford play the whole game on Thursday.
