Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Woodward looks pissed off

    At himself hopefully...

Twice there in great positions, unchallenged and in space and Wan Bissaka can’t beat the first man with his cross.

Given Rashfords season so far if this means Greenwood gets a start next day I've no problem with that. Chong, Rammazani or Elanga would be more interesting than Andreas or just push Young or Dalot up to RM.

So then, the europa cup, a fantastic competition, when’s the next game?

We are done in the PL

To be fair we have 3 players for one striker position, it's unlucky that they're all injured at once. Probably wasn't a great idea to have Rashford play the whole game on Thursday.

Forwards more than strikers to be fair.

Our most successful period in modern times....

    Cole
    Yorke
    Sheringham
    Solskjaer

Established internationals with a shed load of goals and assists.

Now....Marcus Rashford... a player with as much savvy as a cart horse..

    Why isn't VAR checking that?

Only reason it was not a red was the fact AWB did not have his leg planted. No ankle break, no red card.

It was time for him to go 3 or 4 years ago.

If he was on the pitch in a United shirt right now he'd be floating around up front offering nothing and there'd be people here asking why he wasn't shipped out in the summer.

    Glazers Out!

It doesn't matter who Utd have up front if the middle/wide play is terrible.

Pablo Zabaleta on for West Ham.

That gross spend is sickening, surely Woodward should be out on his ear. Absolute disgrace.

Mata is finished, nice guy or not it's time for him to go

Players around him are too thick and predictable in his defence. Making bad runs that mean a pass will be picked off anyway. It's not enough to be fast, have a bit of skill and be able to "dab". They have little to no football intelligence. They could'nt follow LvG or Mourinhos tactics and they can't do much beyond run and pass and hope it works.

It's as though they got their football education playing FIFA whereas Mata is someone who actually watches matches.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

Gomes given 10 minutes while Mata gets 80.

Cmon Ole you’re taking the piss

Sad state when more of the West Ham team would make the United team than United players making theirs.

Going into a season with two strikers who have never scored more than 13 league goals in a season and a promising 17 year old was a shambolic decision and if it was Ole who made it then I'm worried about decision making at the club. We could all see this situation occuring.

Martial is a finisher when played up front but he has always had bouts where he misses games and expected return to fitness takes much longer than originally anticipated. It's just so annoying when the defensive issues seem to be sorted and now the problem is no creativity in midfield and no strikers to finish the few chances created.

United are in trouble already, 6 games into the season.

Great free in fairness, a bullshít rash stupid tackle from Young to give the chance away.
