His contract expires next summer. We could be left with a Sancho/Pogba situation of him leaving for more gametime.

But he literally played in the last two games. Not playing tonight (if true) doesn't mean he won't be involved again in the future or mean that he's off.

It might be a case of Ole having said to him, I'll let you off tonight as you're playing 90 mins at the weekend? Hardly a sign he's definitely out the door. That said, if I was an 18 year old with his talent watching Mata and Pereira start ahead of me, I'd probably be considering my future at the club as well.

Doubt he's starting against Arsenal on Monday night tbh. Tonight was a perfect game for him. Weird he's not included.

Maguire is head and shoulders above what was there at the club minus Lindelof who is in very poor form.

Himsefl and AWB have been arguably the 2 best signings we've had in years.

Recruitment strategy in general over the past 6 years has been woeful but these 2 + James have been 3 excellent pieces of business.

We need more signings like this so long may it continue.

I hope you're right but lets see. After 6 games, 5 1/2 of them complete shít, I fail to see how people can be happy with any of them at this point.

If we had poch he might try a few things different, like using dalor4maybe as rb and moving van bisaka somwhere else, bisaka is undoubtedly super talented defensively but dalot is a much more attacking fb and could be used to stretch defenses, both out fbs never seem to be both forward under ole in games where we need to create space.

Sure you cant create creative players but you can play more attacking football and switch around what you got.

Dalit has done nothing to show he is anywhere near the finished article. After years of screaming out for a right full at right back and not a winger, people think poch will come in with a master stroke and play that right full on the wing.

He has shown a lot in an attacking sense and poch over his carreer has been very good with young full backs, it was just one way the team could be playing more attacking football under him.

Except they finished as runners up in the champions league and qualified by their league position. So I'd disagree their form is as bad since PSG, start of the season though we'd be a wee bit better owing to the Chelsea result.

Delighted to see chances like this for Tuanzebe, for Greenwood again at OT (perfect use of cup ganed) or McTominay as a first choice option in recent weeks to step up and get experience in this time of transition.

Part of me thinks United should have got some experienced heads in for the short term but if likes of Ed have finally looked to long term instead of spend out of trouble mentality then these are the kind of things that will help form a strong foundation. Identify the talent and personality that the club needs in the squad.

Beginning to think there's something strange going on with this Dalot "injury". The trip to China for rehab with another football team sounded a bit odd and how quiet we're being with details of his fitness. Was long enough before it was even clarified whether he was inured or just out of favour.

The China thing sounded odd but he went to a specialist who was working for one of the teams in China.

The fact he is out injured again and needed a specialist working in China to help him is a worry alright.
