It's great to see teams from the lower divisions play decent football these days. Was similar with Derby last year. Gone are the days of playing horsesh*te teams in the early rounds of these cups.

If we cant execute the managers game plan against Rochdale with these players then thats on the manager tbh, and if his game plan is lots of sideways passing in midfield, loads of crosses and long shots he should be long gone.

It's been getting worse week by week.
There isn't any actual tactical plan up front.
The players are actually playing as individuals to an extent thus shooting from distance, aimless crosses and passing in front of the defense instead of in behind it.
Not one attacker is making any forward runs.

Just to add to this, I think you’d be absolutely mad to think Ole is gonna turn this around now. A league 1 team look to have more of a plan/identity than we do. That’s on the manager.

He can afford to, defense is solid, midfield too but the top four there is lacking experience and cutting forward ability...

We have a 17 year old, leading the line, on his own up front and a mix of bang average (Lingard) and inexperience (Chong, Peirera) to try and supply him, you can argue not great team selection but again, so seriously lacking in attacking options at this club it’s fûcking almost criminal. :rolleyes:
