    Obvious arsenal goal here

    Good jinx

Take James out of this squad and we have sweet FA. Rashford is so far from a top level striker it’s scary

    Good performance tonight though

Another spectacle of pure pish. We will be very very lucky to stay mid table this year.

Just the 11 points behind Liverpool and its not even October, embarrassing.

To ****e teams, draw pretty much what both deserve.

God we are so far back CL qualification in terms of performances and the lack of quality

    Load of **** as expected.

Yet again, James and McT the only two that come out of the game with any credit. Jesse, Andreas, Pogba, Rashford, absolute space wasters.

He loves laying into United now. It’s almost Souness-esque.

Just annoying that he was putting the players down and being dismissive.
Then when it came off and the idea was good, he didn't correct himself

I have got to say that both teams are shockingly poor

Nothing shocking from United, they've been brutal for years.

Reminds me of when Moyes was manager. We didn't even look this poor back then.

Don't even want to look at the table. Another depressing performance. Nothing to get excited about. Newcastle away is going to be a hard watch

Utter dross. 80m for Maguire, you're havin a laugh

Thats it, really. I'm sat here thinking "Oh, a point vs Arsenal isn't a bad result", and then slapping myself....

If we get really lucky this year. We can expect midtable mediocrity.

    If we're very lucky.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,005 ✭✭✭BDI

Greenwood and James linked up well in parts. I’d have taken one all at the start.
Can see players growing into the team.

Mctominay James a tuanzebe. Mistake by tuanzebe caused the goal but he is young and that’ll happen.

Pogba done very little although he had his moments.

Happy enough with what’s there at the moment considering young at full back.

Another week over waiting on the transfer window.

    2 wins in 12 games.

Arguably the worst Man Utd team ever.

    What does Pogba do?

We needed to buy someone like Vardy during the summer. Sheringham, Van Persie, Larsson and Ibrahamovic all did a great job for a season or two. I think some one like Vardy is badly needed. We have no strikers!

  • It's all so helter skelter
There's no plan structurally to what Utd are trying to do
It's purple patches of individuals trying to do something
In general play we are just not good enough on almost every aspect
    Arsenal aren't much better either

    Two sides with big issues

    Positives stem from Daniel James
He looks like a real good player with bags of confidence, it's very exciting whenever he gets the ball

    Correct.

First half was rank. Second half was a little better, particularly once the game got stretched. Shame about the error.

Thought taking Lingard off was a mistake for once too.

2 mid table teams we just watched which is sad statement to what the 2 boards allowed to happen

Rashford needs Ibra to come in January and take some of the pressure off him, he is suffering from worse burn out since Michael Owen hurt his knee, Pogba and Lingard a joke Ashley Young a relic Please is getting sacked if we lose on Sunday mark my words

Go away with your generic trolling Maguire comment. Ref and both sets of players were muck, and you single out Maguire.

Poor more in quality of players

We are 10th.. ****in TENTH.. i love Ole, but he has to go, absolutely no plan whatsoever..

  • I'd also add o thought Mctominey had a decent second half
He did make some good runs but he needs to do it more consistently and try and get into the game more often

Far from the worst player on the pitch

His position for the Arsenal goal that VAR corrected. What was he doing there? 80m for that? I've seen under 12's with a better positional sense. Absolute joke.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,045 ✭✭✭✭The Nal

Pogba got a new haircut. So there's that.

Is that the benchmark for him now?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,924 ✭✭✭KH25

As so many people said in the summer a striker, RW and AM are all needed. I don’t think Rashford is a striker and we can’t just go flog Greenwood.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,496 ✭✭✭Will I Am Not

Not sure what people are expecting. It’s a squad jam packed with mediocrity. I expect mediocrity every game now and it never disappoints. Embrace the mediocrity :pac:

Stick Pep in there and he wouldn’t do much better. We’re missing quality. Zero creativity in that m/f, and the few chances that m/f do create, there’s no quality up front to finish it.

Any other big teams in Europe wouldnt put up with this and their manager would be gone.

I'm gutted to see Ole's tenure at utd turning out like this but something has to change at this point

It's far from Ole's fault but he looks a deer caught in the headlights and is out of his depth.

It's far from his fault as the boardroom has alot to answer for but Ole should never gotten the job in the first place

He was the reason for the equalising goal, him and VAR getting it right.

How is that trolling exactly, making an observation?

    And who comes in?
There is no quick fix at united anymore, we are 3 managers past quick fix!

Whoever comes in is gonna need time and patience. And probably a season or 2 of finishing 6th -10th.
That’s is reality. We should give Ole at least until the Jan window.

We need to give a manager time, money and the ability to lay a foundation.

Changing managers again? We’ll win 3 games, draw one, and be back to square one again

Been crying out for a right winger for around 5 years now.

Was he not offering an option from a throw in close to that corner? Seemed like a reasonable enough place to be. Don't think you can blame him for PEA being onside.

And 3 points off Arsenal in 4th. We're pretty mediocre, but talk of relegation is just plain ridiculous.

Even given how poor we were and the serious lack of quality, we should have won the game.

Gifted them the equalizer, McTominay has to score the header and then made Leno make a couple of good saves.

The lack of belief, confidence and quality in the squad is clearly evident. Lingard and Pereira are just brutal. Rashford looked better from the right actually but he is going to be completely burnt out soon enough with all the games and pressure he is under.
