Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Fred again.

It's so infuriating that his guy is still at the club, it was some waste of money but it sums up utd in the transfer market tbh

Every time our play breaks down the camera zooms in on Fred.

    What a waste of space.

You could excuse the young lads the mistakes Fred keeps making.

I read that as Woodward City, maybe that's what we should start calling ourselves instead of Manchester United.

Feel like I’ve been repeating myself, but I’m really becoming a big fan of Dalot.

Yep, Ed fell again for the annual City prank of saddling United with an expensive dud we thought they wanted badly.

Woodward was wary about getting a Brazilian at first, he thought it was going to hurt like a b*stard.

And LOL thats what it feels like now alright

De Gea seems to have had more touches of the ball with his feet than Mata has.

I just looked back at a five minutes highlights vid on YouTube of Fred...

All the attributes of a player United should have been after and signed.... but once he landed in Manchester with the shower of shît that’s around him in an attacking sense he ‘looks’ bang average.... so many shots of him settling up goals, ingenuity, sliding through glorious defense splitting passes, genuinely eye of the needle stuff. We have NOBODY making those runs and nobody up front with their back to goal even to receive the ball.

To be fair he wasn't playing at a standard that compares to the Premier league.

Fred has been misplacing passes all evening, bread and butter stuff for any Sunday league player.

They must be on serious bonuses for getting the ball and passing it straight back where it came from. That and standing still are what this team are best at

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

Have we even had a shot on goal in this game. Genuinely can’t remember any chances

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,837 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

True, I’m just fûcking trying to buy into some sort of hope that there is going to be eventually a player there worthy of that fee who can emerge to actually affect out play consistently and positively.... jury still out though..

I brought my son down the park for a game on Saturday. Few of his little mates with him.

Some of the goals I scored.

From now on, no matter what level I go to, these goals will be the true mark of my genius. If I fail at another club. Club probably weren’t good enough.

Fred, Matic, Mata. All do nothing.

This is as bas as West Ham game for lack of urgency, movement and any clue of what they are doing with the ball.

Thought United were poorly coached on terms of where the game has gone under Jose and Ole has done nothing to improve them in how the team functions.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,005 ✭✭✭BDI

“Fred sold himself and the Japanese under 19 year old international took advantage”

Actually said by the commentator about a midfielder who plays for Manchester United

Imagine that getting said about Roy keane, Bryan Robson or even Anderson or Tom cleverly

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,837 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

That’s a bit simplistic, would Van Nistelrooy, Ole, Beckham, Rudd have had a similar output as regards their strengths if playing for Swindon ? Quality around you is key.

Don’t even deserve a penalty the way we’re playing. This is depressing to watch. It’s like none of them know how to attack. Williams has shown the most attacking intent of the lot!

No movement in midfield. Too slow getting into position in the lads in front of the dms. Dalot not busting a gut to get forward when we are looking to get forward suddenly down his side, mctominay coming on seems to have made things slightly better

That’s how it is, a club with ambitions, expectations and an attacking tradition yet bereft of the ability to attack.
