UK insurers that accept an Irish NCB?

Hi folks, So I've moved over to Scotland, and have just imported my car from Ireland. Looking to insure it, but the first insurer I rang is after telling me that they won't accept an Irish NCB. This is rather gutting news, as I'm nine years claim free and am loath to lose that NCB. Anyone know of an insurer that accepts EU…

Not answering the op's question, but I know someone who was with AXA in Scotland, and moved to Ireland for work, and AXA Ireland wouldn't recognize the AXA UK NCB.
