Ok I know you're talking about Mayo, but in Lahinch you've plenty of pubs by the beach, Liscannor, Spanish point,Kilkee...

The most underrated little village in Clare for pub's is Carrigaholt it's a small village on the Shannon estuary on the mouth of the Shannon estuary. And it has a nice sandy beach.

There's a beach right on the village within 5 minutes to the nearest pub.
A nice green area for camping nearby too.

Doolin is another spot but more of a rugged coastline.

Hope this helps if you ever decide to hit Clare.

The beach bar in Aughris near Easkey. Is a great spot. Think you can camp there too. Good food as well

There is no license that will allow you to camp wherever you want, you need landowners permission. Coillte allow wild camping in some western way areas I think, same with ballycroy and Connemara.

Where did you get this license and how specific is it?

In the same place you can go to see the Sam Maguire in Mayo.

    That's a bit rich. Leitrim4life!!

Go into any tourist office and ask for a Wild Atlantic Way wild camping license.

No license will allow you to camp anywhere you want, it's not legally possible

So that's a no then :pac:

Mind you if I was selling made up licenses to people on the pretense it would give them access to privately owned land without permission I wouldn't mention it on my website either :D

I hope he does not have the Wild Atlantic Way passport and thinks that is a licence to camp anywhere.
