A few more cars retire and Willams could end up in the points by default, Russel in 14th currently.

Sounds like another penalty for Lewis

Edit: Did they give a decision? There's no investigation symbol next to his name

I love Williams, they never put on slicks so you would think they'd be doing well. Last and 3rd last. :P

The Mercs just swallowing up Hulk, chance of podium decreasing

If Hulk can stay within 5 seconds of Hamilton he'll still get it.

It's unlikely, the Merc is a second a lap faster. He needs one of them to have a DNF

    Safety car again.

How many sets of tyres do each driver have, might run out soon if they all dash in again.

    Ah Hulk

The Hulk throws it away. Will it ever happen for him to get on the podium.

How many safety cars is that now? And virtual ones? Losing count.

Well it's two sets of each dry compound tyres I think. I've no idea how many inters and wets they get.

Think we could have our first 9 or 10 race of the season!

Were Vettel's tyres old? Don't get why they pitted him there.

Why can't they put something on that drift track to improve traction? A driver could get hurt
I think sky even brought it up before the race about that area

Wondered about the inters, they've all seemed to have put a fair few sets on now.

They should stay on the track then.

Another idiotic decision by Ferrari, they had nothing to lose by keeping him out. Chances are there will be another safety car before end of race also given the way things are going.

four sets of inters and three sets of wets according to Martin Brundle on commentary.

4 inters and 3 wets for the weekend, I suppose most have eaten through the inters now already

So have they decided not to give Hamilton another penalty?

Did Albon pit again and come out in 4th??

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,939 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

They should stay on the track then.

Well I agree they should try to keep the car on the track, but that drag track surface looks far slippier than any other runoff area on any other track.

Baffles me that Mercedes didn't take the 5 second penalty here.
