    Hi guys,

I've heard great reports about you guys so was wondering if I could get some advice on a 55inch TV.

My budget is roughly around the €600 mark, I will stretch it slightly but won't want to go too further up.

What would you recommend and could you tell me what the delivery time would be if I was to order one tomorrow/Thursday?

Our main LG tv has given up only after 4 years of use so something that will last would be ideal. I'd also like good picture quality for the price.

Currently we have a Sky Box and the TV had WebOS built in - something similar would be great.

    Any recommendations? Thanks a mill

    Hi OREGATO,

    Thanks for the post!

If you're looking to stick with the WebOS system I would start off looking at the LG 55UK6400 at 549 euro. It's a great entry level 4K TV with a fantastic panel and the WebOS operating system:

If you're looking for a better panel I would look at the Sony KD55XF7003 at 629 euro. This panel will give better contrast and colour than the LG but the LG has a much better smart hub than the Sony:

Let me know if either of these are what you're looking for.

    Kind regards

    David

Hi David, sort of reluctant to stay with LG given that our one cost over €1k new and hasn't lasted 5 years. What about in the Sony range? I'm not married to WebOS and would happily settle with another OS as long as I had Netflix on it.
    Thanks,
    O

    Hi O,

You could go for the Sony KD55XF7003 at 629 euro. This TV would have a better panel than the LG for contrast and colour but not as good a smart hub. It will have Netflix and Amazon Prime though.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David
