Galway outdoor home security camera install

Howdy,

My family and I have been on the hunt for outdoor security cameras. No matter what we search for online, everything leads to alarm-systems (fire, motion, etc.), indoor cameras, or monitoring services. All we'd like is:

» 2 Outdoor Cameras / Recording Capable (specifically for the driveway and back garden).
» Nightvision / Weatherproof

Does anyone happen to know of sites or services (in Ireland) that provide these? (installation is a bonus). No matter how we search, it's dead-ends everywhere, e.g., Amazon sites with 'smart-apps' or other unnecessary things that are not suitable.

Alternative suggestions also welcome, but above would be preferred.

Personally if I were you I'd be looking at someting like ring, their flood light cams look the real deal with notficiations to your app if motion is detected etc (apps are certainly not unnecessary if you want to have a good monitoring system).

I got one of these over a year ago and found it great. I mounted it upside down to the top of an upstairs window viewing down at our front harden and the road. Can move it around with the app so I can look up the road when I'm expecting deliveries. I have it added to my Synology NAS drive which is storing a few days worth of footage. I can control it via Synology of their own app.

Probably better ones out there, but for the money this did everything I hoped for.

Can I wire it and install myself or do I need an Istaller with some sort of Cert? the camera will only record part of land that are my property or people entering my property.

Wire it yourself all you need is a drill. No need for a licenced installer it's your own land
