    child is tired of parent's attitude to them, the parent's general lack of interest and does not want to go on access visits

    Without being too specific child in question is a a very astute tweenager

    I'd say arrange a meeting and let the teenager explain to the parent what's making them unhappy.

    Then suggest a new schedule for access - perhaps reduced?
