Oh you bet. If you think Trump is bad. You’ll be absolutely astounded if you google Pelosi. Of course we all know about the charming clintons by now.

I haven't been impressed by any of what I've seen to be honest, all the way to the top. But they all have their supporters by the looks of it, no matter how silly their carry on. So I must be in the minority.

I’m really not for anyone. As more against. The democrats and the left. The leftists will have one hand behind their back holding a knife. Whilst the other is waved into the air. Saying look. Nothing.

At least with trump you know where you stand. You **** with me I **** with you. And the dems like, vampires hate it when he shines the light on them.

I've spent some time in San Francisco and obviously noticed the homelessness...

(but understood a lot was from people who had served in the military etc mental health etc chatted to some coming and going it's inevitable and never felt in danger - just felt for a lot them tbh)

.... but I thought it was a great city.

I would have thought most people thought it was a great city.

A difference of opinion to some on the thread:

"San Francisco is a proper ****hole apparently"

    haha :)
Ah, San Francisco. Lovely place to visit but you wouldn’t want to walk there? San Francisco, liberal bastion and sanctuary city, attracts the best of the best... Homeless, drug additict, crazies and serial poopers. Seems they dump wherever they want, as their interactive poop map indicates.

You couldn’t pay me to live there.

You can ignorantly accuse me of "whataboutism," but what it really is involves identifying similar scenarios in order to see if it holds up when the shoe is on the other foot!

    Absolutely. US politics stinks.

Republican voters get a lot of stick, but just look at the alternative. The Democrats are insane.

I’m sure Pelosi is on it like she is on trumps ass.

Lol who am I kidding. Her rich voters that work for all the giant tech companies. Who lets face it. Are the real cause of SAN Francisco’s ****hole status. Are more than happy with her performance.

Yes! For me that was what I felt with him from day one. This guy is quite obviously a bit of a wally. It's just not how politicians are ever presented, well ones I'd watched before. It was kind of refreshing.

What I do like about him is that he talks to you rather than at you. I know he comes across a bit bombastic.

There’s a great clip of Nancy Pelosi talking to the daca dreamers. And then suddenly she feels they aren’t paying her the correct attention. Well… lol see for yourself.

I'd find him a bit stupid if I'm honest. Lacks consistency and logic. But maybe the way he grew up etc. His line of business is different to the political game so I'd imagine he is "trained" differently to them if that makes sense. And obviously tweeting things that come across as racist to a lot of people isn't where we want society to head.

BUT sweeping generalisation - I can't stand the stereotypical politician, the clean facade but all the same problems behind it. And no opinion unless it's been okayed and read over by everyone. I do have to turn off prime time etc because of it. :)

And if we look at trump becoming president it was about 50 / 50? So you've half of them who voted enjoying this type of campaign. Maybe the next one will show that people didn't enjoy the term. It'll be very interesting for me if he gets the second term.

I would personally like politicians to adopt that part of trumps setup, even if I don't agree with what he is saying.

There’s a lot of great places I wouldn’t go at night, personally. That’s general to just about anywhere you go.

A few different times in recent years.

I have friends still over there. They are still enjoying it.

Again best to experience things for yourself in life I think. I wouldn't believe everything you read on the Internet. I find major cities quite similar in this, but the extremes get more extreme. Like even after a few months in London and when I return to Dublin I realise how London is just that bit more yikes! than Dublin. Ha

Exactly, Trump tells it like it is, good or bad and the libtards cant handle that...

They'd rather be kissed in the ear with a puppy hug from odumbass while being told how he's going to fix everything that's broken with the country... then turns around walks away and does absolutely nothing

I didn't say I wouldn't go there at night. Like almost all cities, you probably don't want to be hanging out in non-populated areas at like 2am.

Anyone who would call my post "virtue signalling" is clearly off their rocker.

He said wind turbines give you cancer and airports existed 200 years ago. To you that might be "telling it like it is" but to me it's cretinous.

I'm not here to defend Democrats but I don't think Trump supporters can lecture people on sensitivity. I previously commented that I think Trump supporters will believe anything and some of the ones I met weren't too bright and Trump supporters here nearly had seizures!

I think she was referring, last year, to the regular occurrences of mass shootings that have bee carried out by white American males.
She is not running for president of course, but I think the Republicans are trying to divert attention away from the fact that Trump is making a hames of his job, by targeting her and other progressive Democrats.

I understand desperate times call for desperate measures… which apparently means get rid of Trump by any ways or means possible. Trump’s movement has been steadily growing because of his put America first mantra. Nearly 6 million jobs have been created since President Trump took office. Many Americans are supporting the Republican Party for the first time thanks to the president… representing everyday Americans from every walk of life. Since 2016, the GOP has trained more than 50,000 new volunteers and registered nearly 7 million new Republican voters. Also, Trump’s record of keeping his promises has fueled historic fundraising numbers. Thanks to Trump’s leadership, the Republican party is now synonymous with freedom, economic prosperity and security while the Democrats are running on free taxpayer funded healthcare for illegal aliens and big-government socialism. Somehow I don’t think the Democrat’s “America Last” is a winning message for the 2020 election. So, yes, I understand why the left and democrats want to get rid of him before the election… It’s all they got.

You can ignorantly accuse me of "whataboutism," but what it really is involves identifying similar scenarios in order to see if it holds up when the shoe is on the other foot!

    Got a source for this?

Yes lets face it, he doesn't tell it like it is as he's not always clued in on how things are.

I think we can say he sometimes tells it how he thinks it is, even if what he thinks it is isn't what it is or if what he thinks it is comes across as rude / insulting / racist / hypocritical / down right stupid.

I think other politicians may be rude / insulting / racist / hypocritical / down right stupid but we are never allowed to see it.

With Trump it is there for all to see on twitter.com - which at least is something different.

What I don’t like is Dems identity politics. It has basically spewed into everything. And when they stand up and say racist for the smallest and stupidest thing. That they themselves have said in the past.

Oh we are not allowed to see it because of mainstream media. But it’s out there. In living colour. So to speak. You’ll definitely see it on Fox News. Because the are Trump friendly. Which is one of the reasons I watch some of their stuff. I can see all I want of racist trump on cnn. But they’ll never comment on the Democrats.
