Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Both polls are now closed.

    The most popular time for the draft was 10pm on Monday 26th August.

    However, a few people have said they felt this was a little late in case it ran on for a couple of hours and that 9pm might be more suitable. I hadn't actually given 9pm as an option so I think that's a fair point.

    So, unless the majority are opposed, the draft will be set for 9pm on Monday 26th August. If you aren't happy with this, make your feelings known before 5pm tomorrow, otherwise we'll run with that.

    Finally, we have all but one signed up to the league. This person hasn't been active on Boards since first declaring their interest in participating. If this is still the case come the morning of the draft I will be actively looking for a replacement. Happy to accept standbys in the meantime.

    Thanks for your engagement so far and for getting those fees in!

    I'm good for 9pm on Monday but FYI, the current draft date on the league is set at Sunday, Sep 1, 2019 at 8:00pm BST.

    Personally I think it is a little premature to have a draft before all participants pay.... I mean if someone who has not paid, has a
    Bad draught and decides not to follow through, it could ruin it for everyone..?

    Think everyone should be paid up before a perspective draft.....

    I’ve set aside next Monday at 9 for the draft as agreed. If you were to wait until everyone paid up you probably wouldn’t draft until midway through the season!

    Excellent. That's everyone signed up and 9 paid.

    I've gotten one or two PMs saying they couldn't pay until next week as they get paid end of the month which is fine. If you're not gonna be able to pay up by Monday I'd appreciate if you could let me know when I can expect it. Cheers.

    The NFL draft system is pretty good, if anything happens (internet connection) you can always pause the draft.
