I would say in the states maybe a quarter of Jews.
You probably confuse "general support of Israel" with "disagreement with some aspects of Israeli policy".

You don't know what you're talking about:Hammas are dedicated to destroying israel AND THE JEWS in their entirety.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamas_Covenant

    https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/kill-all-the-jews-says-senior-hamas-figure-zvx9jshbb

we do know what we are talking about. israel do demolish palestinian homes.
even if hamas are dedicated to destroying israel and the jews, they are thankfully doing a rubbish job of both and it's thankfully not an achievable goal unlike israel's land theft and colonisation.
You have no idea what you're talking about..you seem to glean your "facts" from handouts at student rallies...socialists/marxists/ISIL/MSA/Hammas supporters and traitors.

If you hate the western world and the concept of democracy so much you should leave and join ISIL..that is if you have the courage of your convictions.

You are unworthy of further engagement.

i know what i'm talking about. there is plenty of proof of israel's many, many crimes.
criticising israel or any country does not equate to hating the west and democracy and supporting isis.
if anyone is unworthy of engagement it's you, however someone has to challenge the false allegations you are posting.

I support israels right to defend itself. But what i really want is just peace.

I get sick of people bringing it up around me though.

Or bringing it up constantly when there are lots of other things wrong in the world.

A just peace would require a just and fair peacebroker. Given the states refusal to let any international body take that role, things will drag on as they are.

    .

Regarding the Sur Baher demolitions, it is important to remember that Israel only acted after its high court of justice ruled unequivocally that the buildings had been built illegally near the West Bank separation fence, and were considered a danger to civilians and to the security forces. All but one of the buildings were uninhabited.

It is also important to note that Israel also demolishes Jewish built structures, if they are deemed to have been illegally. Additionally, the homes of some 7,000 Jews were destroyed in 2005 when Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza.
that is a side of the story we generally don’t hear about in the Irish media.

    Looking for help are you?

Try your buddies in ISIL they're always looking for disenfranchised westerners to convert.

The Israel regime has more in common with ISIL than Hamas does.

What vote has the Palestinians on how far Israel encroaches onto their land? The international community wouldn't support much of what Israel does.

they were demolished because they were owned by palestinians, and as part of israel's collective punishment strategy.
It is also important to note that Israel also demolishes Jewish built structures, if they are deemed to have been illegally.

that's interesting given all of the illegally built houses by settlers on the occupied territories and land stolen from palestinians.
Additionally, the homes of some 7,000 Jews were destroyed in 2005 when Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza.
that is a side of the story we generally don’t hear about in the Irish media.

i would imagine they demolished them so as to leave no infrastructure for the gazans. it certainly wouldn't have been because they were illegally built given they have no issue with all the illegal buildings they have built on land they have taken from palestinians.

Not looking for help at all.
TV, radio, eyewitness accounts of the murderous IDF actions are all the help I need.
Also I know Hamas are wrong too but I thought that the Middle East ‘s only Democracy would be in a better position to lead by example instead of taking the sledgehammer to crack the odd nut. Where’s the leadership?

It's not their land. It is the Jewish homeland for 3000 years. The Jews were expelled by the war monger Mohammed in 500AD.

The middle east has been overrun by Islam ever since.
Did you know that Afghanistan was once a Buddhist country,or that Syria was once Christian?

The only stealing of land is by Islam..54 countries to date so why aren't you protesting that?

Now Palestine is being over run by Judaism so even stevens?

Palestine isn't stealing land nor murdering people as a state policy.

How much land have Palestinians stolen in the last 40 years?

How much land have Palestinians stolen in the last 40 years?

It was never their land to begin with. It is land stolen from the Jews by the warlord Mohammed.
Israel have every right to reclaim their ancestral lands back and unlike Islam,Judaism is not bent on world domination.

You realize that both Israelis and Palestinians have to buy their houses just like normal people right?

I thought they got their land already and were only stealing now for security purposes? Except for the Golan heights of course which is more to do with oil money ;)

I can hardly blame them, especially surrounded as they are by countries who have pledged to destroy them.
Israel could use their nuclear weapons to clear a buffer zone but they haven't chosen to do so.

the palestinian land outside the 1948 borders of israel is palestinian land now. what some book from thousands of years ago says on the matter is irrelevant. israel only has the right to the land within their borders as set out in 1948.
so how much land have the palestinians stolen in the last 40 years?

because ultimately it wouldn't end well for them. or the rest of us. it would lead to all out nuclear war.

You should tell that to the 1.8 billion people who live their lives according to the "teachings" of the Koran.

In particular these sorts of verses:

Quran (9:29): "Fight against Christians and Jews until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low."
Quran (5:51): "Don't take Jews or Christians for friends. If you do, then Allah will consider you to be one of them."
Quran (2:65-66): "Christians and Jews must believe what Allah has revealed to Muhammad or Allah will disfigure their faces or turn them into apes, as he did the Sabbath-breakers."
Quran (5:51): "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people."
Quran (9:30): "And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!"

Wait, I thought they were only reclaiming their holy land? Now we're excusing the theft of more land?
Israel wants to expand and wipe out Palestine. Making it radioactive won't suit.

And ours say the Jews killed baby Jebus, God's own chissler. Funny books that no right minded individual should take seriously IMO, however people have a right to believe what they may but using it as an excuse to harm others is gross IMO.

when the muslims actually start stealing land, then perhapse so. until then, nope.
so again, some random verses from a book mean nothing.

You do understand how nuclear weapons and nuclear fallout work, don't you?

Your argument is akin to saying I won't set off this grenade I'm holding which would injure my three attackers while blowing my whole arm off.

Very well indeed. What would you like to know?

Why would anybody "set off" a grenade whilst holding it?

Boss, Israel steals land and kills. What Muslim/Jewish prophet King David did hardly matters either.

    My map is older.

A map showing an islamic state obtained by usurping the jewish and christian populations?

If the jews are reclaiming their lands then good enough for them..or perhaps you want the entire middle east to be under the yoke of islam?
