Whether or not the country existed as a independent State doesn’t mean the area, province or people didn’t.

NO it didn't. It was a very ethnically diverse region and linguistically diverse region. A Palestinian province never existed not even organically.

Half of it and half the palestinians became jordan and jordanians.

There were about 500,000 jews in the region at the time about 720,000 arabs.

There were Christians there were the druze etc.

There are virtually no Druze today in palestine ..only maybe 30k christians and no Jews.

Whereas in Israel there are 150k Christians 2 million arab muslims (they even serve in the IDF and most identify as having a palestinian background) and 160k Druze.

There is also an ethnic Turk presence left from the Ottoman Empire in Israel ...none in palestine...and they were there.

Who who did the ethnic cleansing?

It was never their land to begin with. It is land stolen from the Jews by the warlord Mohammed.
Israel have every right to reclaim their ancestral lands back and unlike Islam,Judaism is not bent on world domination.

You better tell the Americans to give there land back to the Cherokee and Commanche, right?

Factually and historically you can't compare the two.

Three quarters of Palestine was given to the arabs in the region. Today three quarters of that region is still controlled by arabs.

They just turned on each other.

The biggest threat to Israel is the current governments policy of expansion beyond there borders, not any of there Arab neighbours.

Arabs were displaced by EUROPEAN jews after WW2, displaced by force. These Arabs had lived there for centuries beforehand. How is that in anyway morally acceptable?

    Well no syria. IRAN!

    It depends.

They withdrew from gaza. Unfortunately Egypt has moved in but that is besides the point. That is nothing to do with Israel. Admittedly it puts more pressure on palestine etc. And they have created a buffer zone that is now used for Egyptian fish farming weirdly. They say its going to stop smuggling. Yeah i can't figure that one out either. They do have fish farming settlements there though. Its the weirdest idea ever to prevent smuggling to i actually the expansion is opportunistic.

But never the less we are talking Israeli settlements and the expansion of them.

West bank settlements etc i presume you are talking about. They are the only ones there are. The part of Palestine that was Jordan until 1967.

Yes these are illegal dangerous and using Israelis as a buffer zone.

Some facts though. Some of these areas were Jewish areas for hundreds of years. Yes settlers came to accompany those already living in Jewish areas.

But places like Hebron a city in the south west bank were Jewish for thousands of years.

gaza city also had a jewish community for hundreds of yrs. Gone now.

Gush Etzion had a huge Jewish community since biblical times.

Jews aren't allows to live in Palestine.

Palestinians are allowed to be Israeli citizens.

Palestinians however chases jews off their lands or like in Hebron ..slaughtered them.

    That didn't happen.

    AT ALL.

THREE QUARTERS OF BRITISH MANDATE PALESTINE WAS GIVEN OVER TO ARAB CONTROL. TODAY THREE QUARTERS OF WHAT WAS BRITISH MANDATE PALESTINE IS STILL UNDER ARAB CONTROL.

Some of them now call themselves Palestinians some call themselves Jordanians.

And of course some TWO MILLION of them live in Israel as Israeli citizens.

The ONLY mass grave palestinians have claimed as evidence of this replacement theory is in JAFFA

And it was since discovered that was actually from WW1 and was 200 Egyptian soldiers who fought for the British.

My god so many falsehood there.

Jews lived side by side with Arabs for centuries in peace, until the Jewish population in Palestine increased from 174k in 1931 to 1.2 million in 1950. Thats nearly a 1000% increase in population in 19 years.

Funny how the Jewish people flocked to a place after persecution in Europe, where the locals, as you say, "slaughter them" :pac:

Your a propagandist for one of the most internationally condemned nations by the U.N.

Nope. Not at all. In the ottoman empire Jews could not even own horses.

    Hebron?? Gush Etzion? Gaza City?

    All genocides.
vv What can't speak can't lie. Grand Mufti of palestine helped hitler.
    Hitler-hosts-the-Mufti-1024x640.jpg

The reason they went there was because the British and the USA blocked Jewish refugees and the British put them there.

Plus Jewish organizations like the Haganah organized too late for WW2. By the time it was British mandate palestine they were ready.

Jews as all other non muslim even had to live under a diff set of laws dhimmi laws
Later, the inferior status of Jews and Christians was reinforced through a series of regulations that governed the behavior of the dhimmi.

Well gringo they might have to take that up with Palestine or maybe Egypt because the IDF withdrew from Gaza. And the people of Gaza elected Hamas as their govt. So its them calling the shots now.

Egyptian army moved in then egypt created fishing farms maybe they can ask egypt if they can fish there?

Since 2005 23 of every 24 people who died in the conflict were Palestinian.

    Israel closed the fishing zone.

    That was egypt.

And anyway ...why doesn't hamas re-open it?

    Afraid of Egypt?

Amazing, they say Hamas fires thousands of rockets over the border every week, but yet theres only 30 deaths in the last 10 or so years. Israel usually kill thousands in a matter of days when they fire rockets.

They refer to their bombardment of Palestine areas as “cutting the grass”.
    Pure callousness.

And hamas and the IDF are both to blame for the conflict. And hamas and the plo is solely to blame for telling people to stay in areas rather than retreat for a few hrs for safety and for not building bombshelters like Israel does.

Israel during an attack from Gaza

Note the comparison to how Israelis and Palestinians are alerted

You really think Gaza will have the same air defense system as Israel? Really?

You do know there under a harsh and illegal blockade that is a scar on the face of humanity.

They are denied building supplies as well as necessary medical supplies and often foodstuffs. A very level playing field.

No they are not. They can cross into Israel. But they have to be searched and get papers. For some strange reason neither the PLO or Hamas will issue passports to their people. I think its because they can charge lots of money for papers time and time again. Therefore its easy for wealthy or middle class people to cross but not poor people.

But you will get through. And the more you go through the more you are trusted. But then you have to get a new paper etc and its harder because unlike a passport its not stamped.

Along the EGYPTIAN BORDER however its different. EGYPT keeps a TOTAL blockade. NOTHING gets through. The only way through for palestinian is the smuggling tunnels. Unlike Israel Egypt just blows them up with people inside.

And yes palestinians protest against this REAL protestors. And against what the Jordanian police have been doing in Palestine.

There is NO blockade on Palestine. There is a total blockade between Egypt and Palestine.
You really think Gaza will have the same air defense system as Israel? Really?

I am sorry that Israel thinks its a better use of their military to defend their citizens rather than spend it on killing Palestinians.

Israel the Iron dome to destroy Rockets.

It puts a lot of military effort into protecting Israelis rather than attacking Palestinians. When you think about it. Israel could have destroyed Palestine to rubble like the USA did with Iraq.

Israel has made a lot of mistakes but they are not to blame for the conflict and young people will be the ones to change things.

They are not denied building supplies. But Hamas rations it because they have to keep using concrete to build tunnels. Since Egypt just destroys them on site.

Israel gives warning to let people get out unless it thinks its an immediate threat to Isreali citizens.

By the way the IRON DOME is also protecting many Palestinian israeli passport holders. Because you know they can get passports from Israel. But not Palestine.

They are not denied medical supplies. But security checks do slow up things at the Israeli -Palestinian border. And its a burden but they DO get through.

Egypt allows NOTHING in or out of its border with Palestine not medicine not supplies not people NOTHING. Its a solid wall.

And i mean before Trump stopped the funding and aid to Palestine they were given money to build an airport.

    Hamas never built it.

They are not denied building supplies.

    They are denied building supplies.

Here's what the Israeli government officially says are controlled substances.

A big chunk of that list is building supplies.

So you are either ignorant, or lying. Or both.

    No that's your crowd.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/24/world/middleeast/israel-allows-building-supplies-to-enter-gaza-again.html

    Your link isn't working.

Again Eygpt allows NOTHING in. And they have no airport after the funds for one mysteriously disappeared.

RAMALLAH, West Bank — The Israeli military authorities on Monday allowed building supplies to start flowing into Gaza again, lifting a suspension that had blocked work for more than a month on thousands of houses destroyed in the 2014 summer war.

I don't get why anyone is surprised at Palestine being a mess. You vote terrorist groups in govt like hamas and the PLO turns out they can't collect tax or provide water.

Who knew terrorist groups with zero experience of running a country would be so bad at it.

I think you have to concede the Irish view of Israel is distorted completely.

And you can't help the Palestinians right now without criticizing Egypt Jordan Lebannon and Syria.
