Battery Repair

Ok this might be a strange place to post but I wasn't sure.....


I have a 12v 12amp battery which I use for a kids Peg Pegero toy. The guys said it was very similar to a battery they use on a motorbike.


Anyway one of the connectors just snapped off the battery, is their anyway to fix these batteries? or do I throw out and buy new one?

I'd imagine just getting a new one would be a better solution, circa €50/€60, not sure anyone would fix them at a cost effective price.

Yeah I doubt it, the question is do I go for a bigger amp so it will hoepfully last longer for the toy

Go for as big a battery that you can fit into the toy, batteries are always better over sized.:D

Post a pic of the damage - does it look like there is enough of the old contact to solder a new connector onto?
