Ok. So this one scored the exact same as the previous one because I couldn't make a decision between them. There's an element of nostalgia here. They were one of my favourite bands when I was a teenager. It's not my favourite song by them but it scored reasonably well due to it fitting the category well and my 13 year old self being slightly in love with Jon Bon Jovi

This is a bit of a choon. I mean who doesn't love a good power ballad?

It did fit the category but not quite as well as others.

Not sure what else to say for this one. These songs were so hard to score as I liked so many of them!

This one actually started in a lower position (don't kill me). I was just thinking, damn I've heard this song so often. I couldn't give it a first impression as I knew it so well. It absolutely tells a story and it tells it well which I had kind of forgotten. After a few goes around I'd warmed up to it a lot again. So again some nostalgia here. As with so many other submissions in this category, I liked the song - I just liked others a bit more :pac:

So the next song caused me some hassle. I like Eminem but I don't think this is his best work. I know this song but haven't listened to it a lot and it did grow on me as I listened to it a bit more. I flipped back and forth between this and Meatloaf a fair bit but Eminem won due to novelty.

Definitely agree it's not his best work but it tells the best story in his songs... imo.

Next song up is one that I love. I mean it is my shades on, windows down, stereo blasting driving song. The only reason it's not higher up is that again, I know it so well and I tend to listen to it a lot during the summer (the only time you can really have shades on and windows down in this country) so it has been on heavy rotate of late.
