Are they detectives working the case?

If not, then you or them haven't a fúcking clue, stop spoofing.

I’m not spoofing if anything you are the spoofer here

My real worry regarding you is why u seem so desperate to bury the issue and not have it as a major news story with all the details and descriptions so that suspects can be apprehended.

But no. That’s not what you want at all.

It's farcical and if this tragedy ever falls on one of your families, i wonder will you still have the same ignorant opinion.

I am actually blaming the victims parents yes. Parents bear responsibility for their childrens activities and their safety, not a popular sentiment these days, far easier to shrug and say "sure I can't control them" and let them out all hours.

Is there anything to suggest that this is something to do with refugees or immigrants into the country or are we all just jumping to conclusions?

Is it completely mad to suggest we wait until there is an arrest or something to loose our **** on this?

TBF there is only a select few jumping to any conclusions.

There is a small Direct Provision centre in the town.

DP + Girls Sexual Assault = Rapist Refugees.

The thread was started not because there was 3 girls allegedly assaulted, it started because who may have assaulted them solely based on there being a DP hotel there.

You are. You are pretending local gossip (at best) is fact and reposting it here.

My real worry regarding you is why u seem so desperate to bury the issue and not have it as a major news story with all the details and descriptions so that suspects can be apprehended.

I'm actively posting about it on a popular Irish online forum?
But no. That’s not what you want at all.

Would you care to tell me what I want so, since you appear to know me so well?

Do you need to consult your local contacts?

The little evidence available in the public domain suggests that the perpetrator may be from the Kilkenny area. So nothing to do with the direct provision residents in Courtown.

Bit weird that the various news articles aren’t giving descriptions of the perpetrators
Everyone around Kilkenny knows who it was.

They were Irish, not foreigners, and I'd imagine that the media quietness about it is in order to protect the victims. Maybe we should respect that and let the Gardaí do their job.

If parents did more "parenting", we wouldnt have half the social ills we have.

Are the parents responsible for the rape/sex assault of those kids? No. The only people responsible are the perpetrators.

But if the parents were skulling pints "fúck it, i'm on me 'ollidays", and neglecting their responsibilities to make sure their kids were safe (as far as reasonably practical), its not VICTIM BLAMING to ventilate a view that parents may not have been as responsible as they might.

Yes its unfortunate, and why if you dont want such responsibility, you shouldnt have kids.

the kk thing is a diversion from what I’ve heard from local contacts

Garda probe Kilkenny teenagers in connection to Courtown sex attacks
Gardaí spoke to a number of Kilkenny teenagers yesterday in connection with alleged sex attacks in Courtown in the early hours of Sunday morning.

It is understood that the young men, all of whom are juveniles, were in the Courtown area at the time of the alleged attacks.

No arrests were made. It is understood that investigating gardaí from Wexford are canvassing witnesses and are speaking to all parties who were present in the area at the time.

    Enquiries are ongoing.

Yes Rape & sexual assault has been on the rise in Ireland but its just part and parcel of living in the modern world. Women will just have to be more careful :(

Ok Sadiq, I guess we’ll just have to get used to it.

Why do you think it's anything to do with direct provision? A gang from Kilkenny is suspected. Articles about a predatory gang operating in the south east have been posted.

Other than that it's the usual hysterical accusations of racism and blaming the victim because they are probably working class and have terrible parents

Yep fair point. I should have said some rather then all. It just seems a bit early to jump to that conclusion for me. Seeing as nobody has been arrested yet.

It may help in identifying and apprehending them.

    Where did I say that?

I posted a link from the Irish Times that stated the guards did not have detailed descriptions yet as they were waiting for the girls to come out of shock and be interviewed with a specialist team.

Why are you making things up?

What description did your local contacts give you by the way?
