    That’s really odd

It’s almost like they are trying to bury the story ?!?

Why would any news outlet try and bury the story?

This is the question. It’s really odd isn’t it

    It's been reported on extensively.

There is no one trying to hide it as a story.

The only odd thing is you trying to claim it is being buried.

Usually when there are minimal to no details on the perpetrators of such crimes, a reasonable surmise can be made. Predictable.

Really odd how this is being reported.
The way this case is being reported is really odd.
Bit weird that the various news articles aren’t giving descriptions of the perpetrators
The reporting on this case has been really strange.
Even very minor cases in this country has huge levels of detail re suspects

This one. Eh.......no descriptions allowed for some reason.

    Wtf like?
There should be detailed descriptions of the suspects circulated by now.
    That’s really odd

It’s almost like they are trying to bury the story ?!?

You know what I find really odd?

What do you expect from Kilkenny?
If these lads have connections with the local GAA club no major news outlet will touch it!
The parish priest will put in a good word for them....

And countless other threads were posters including myself are accused of being barbaric for wanting to have harsh sentences for repeat violent or sexual crimes.

Non one on that page mentioned you should be lenient

Why is it important to you? Seriously.

The AGS haven't asked for the public's help in a manhunt.

It’s important because we want the suspects to be apprehended ASAP and to not give descriptions leads to unwise speculation

How does releasing a description help speed up apprehension by the AGS?

Have you been deputized? Have your 'contacts' been deputized?

It could lead to the general public giving a lead to AGS

This is absolutely routine in 99% of investigations

This is what I am talking about when there is a vacuum of information

Why are you so obsessed with getting descriptions? If the guards have suspects there is no need to issue descriptions. Indeed doing so may result in the pointing of fingers at people who are completely innocent. Equally any "suspects" would have a right to a fair trial. Putting all their details up in public at this stage may be prejudicial to any prosecution. You seem to think something is unusual when it's very easy to come up with valid reasons for the way it's been handled

I would suggest leaving all this to the professionals who actually know what they are doing

Consider the reasons they may not go public

Maybe they know the victims and they want to protect their identity

Maybe its just too vague, they were tall, dark hair etc. That could be almost anyone

They already know who they are looking for

It says it's a Irish gang from kilkenny. Do your contacts know more?

Just to back this up we have had a few cases this year alone that have fallen apart due to reporting in the media.

Our judiciary do not take this kindly what so ever. If people really do believe in the rule of law and justice then we have to let them do their job.

People can and should be concerned, they should make sure the powers at be know that they care that they follow up on these cases but leave it at that.

Could be wrong but don't think Kilkenny is as diverse as Dublin so basing my opinion simply on probability, look it will come out soon enough anyway.
