I need to connect a BN-220 GPS module with default TTL NMEA0183 output to an ICOM marine VHF with RS422 NMEA0183 input. I've ordered a MAX232 based TTL to RS 422/485 converter board on ebay. These converters are designed for use with Raspberry Pi. The converter has the following terminals:
    Receiver output
    Receiver enabled
    Driver enabled
    Driver input

How do I connect this to the BN-220 with RX, TX, Vcc and Ground connectors pls? Do the two "enabled" connections need to be set to either 0v or 5v?
