Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In his defence I believe I could actually hear the air tearing when Milner hit that.

Kella sure likes to rush out! I like him.

    Really enjoyable half of football

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Brewster really seemed to be struggling to chase that ball down the line. It’s not like he’s been overly involved either.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 921 ✭✭✭The Good Ole Boys

Hardly any atmosphere for a nearly full ground.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

Brewster not really in the game at all, Elliott looks very decent.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,942 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Mostly good stuff from the young lads, Elliot been the best of them but also missed that sitter. Brewster barely been near the game.

I thought Curtis Jones was the best of them. All the young ones doing well enough tbh.

Ox and Brewster were both out injured for a year it is going to take time for them get anywhere near proper match fitness and when they aren't getting proper competitive minutes on the pitch it is going to take longer.

Jones has looked good too, made that great chance for himself, terribly reluctant to pass though.

Ox has been really poor. As has Hoever, but he gets some grace. Lovren not exactly coming himself in glory either.

Been impressed with Gomez & Elliot, and Jones grew into it as the half went on.

    Always enjoy Andy Hinchcliffe’s analysis.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,942 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Also Gomez is cruising through this game, it's looked extremely easy for him, especially when compared with Lovren struggling even here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Been impressed with Gomez. Hasn’t had much to do but has mopped up everything effortlessly and looks much more composed that Lovren.

If we win is the next round draw after the game?

Brewster been quiet enough. Was inches away from turning in Milner's cross alright nut not involved much.

Elliot will be a really good player. Hard to believe he's only 16.

Think Hoever will eventually end up as a centre-half rather than a full-back.

    Best corner taker I've seen.

I'm so excited about Elliot not since Sterling have I seen a 16 year old have the balls to take on his man and beat him. He just moves well ahead of his years.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,225 ✭✭✭marklazarcovic

I feel for a young striker like Brewster,if he's played with our front 3 in rotation I'm certain he'd look so much better,mo feeding him,bobby..mane.. creating space.. this is way different, quality isn't there for him to showcase his talent.

    However..
Elliott is a smashing player already, showing ox up,who has been slack in possesion,as has lallana.

He is a far better centreback than Lovren.

People forget how good he was from August until his injury in December last year.

Don't like him at right back, gets exposed a bit out there.

Elliot and Jones have been great. Hoover having a tougher time but has the second half to turn it around.

    Even if we lose :)

The draw is coming from MK Dons after the game.

    All over them tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Brewster getting into it a bit more.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

Elliot seems alright. Bit of a loose touch. Not sure he'll make it at this level though if that's the best the can do at, what is he 19? 20?

    *Checks Age*

    Holy ****. He's only 16.

How does it feel to be so profoundly wrong? I only ask because I don't know.

    22 still a kid.

Hopefully we won't be saying the same thing about Eliott in 6 years.

    Moore looks shook.

    Hoever?
Some instinct coming in from the wing
