Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. I'm afraid its black or white when it comes to Rodgers with some lads on here.

Well I wasn't impressed with Lovren beimg picked but as usual Jurgs got it spot on, he had a very good game. That win was huge. Huge win that. And Choudhury is a very naughty boy.

Rodger thought it wasn't a penalty.

Everton will be in the bottom 3 tomorrow if Newcastle best Man U.

I wonder what feeling Richard Keys has about that.

If Leicester played Vardy it might have been different.

Did he not mean with the clubs increased profile etc we should be signing players now while we are such an attractive offering?

Rodger thought it wasn't a penalty.

If he was the Liverpool manager he would have said it was a definite penalty, those post match interviews are pointless.

    The 3 mentioned
Plus countinho who basically funded klopps team, nothing taken away from klopp since his signings have escalated under him but the cash was only there because of the countinho sale.

    Bruce Rioch signed Dennis Bergkamp..

Rodgers signed 29 players at Liverpool not counting a couple of pretty disastrous loan deals. Only a handful were successful and probably only two Coutinho and Sturridge were successful under Rodgers.

He signed Gomez and played him left back, he signed Firmino and hadn't a clue where to play him and ended up not playing him

This might sound weird, but I think the international break has come at a good time for us.

No defeated manager is going to come out and say they agree with the penalty decision. Its a handy bit of deflection that you can blame the loss on a soft penalty, rather than have to talk about why you had 1 shot on target.

Klopp has signed like 20 players and something like 6 are a success. Of course those 6 are world class so props but every manager has their fair share of misses too.

He's usually a massive pain in our arse, we kept him out of the game bar once when Adrian did his bit. Things you love to see that's up there.

2 shots all game...1 on target, they didn't deserve anything tbh

Schmicheal f*cking up for the winner would’ve been another. But I’ll settle for Milner sending him the wrong way for peno.

Firmino was not wanted by Rodgers (Transfer Committee did and overuled him) which is why both Bobby and Benteke got signed the same summer. Milner was good buy granted, Gomez was bought as a youth project and I'd wonder how much input he had for that one. Coutinho (along with Sturridge) was another TC signing which Rodgers was not enthused about.

    Loris Karius 0
    Joel Matip 4
    Ragnar Klavan 3
Alex Manninger 2 (did he ever play a game?)
    Georginio Wijnaldum 4
    Mohammed Salah 5
    Dominic Solanke 2
    Andy Robertson 5
    Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 3.5
    Virgil van Dijk 5
    Fabinho 4
    Naby Keïta 3
    Xherdan Shaqiri 3
    Alisson 5
    Adrián 4

    Caulker (loan) 2

That scoring is a joke right? I also remember you said liverpool wouldn't struggle after selling Suarez because sturidge, I'm sorry but I can't take your opinion on football seriously.

    Mane,Salah,Matip,Allisson,Van Dijk,Robertson,Matip,Wijaldum,Adrian,Fabinho all brillant signings.

Grujic developing well. Only real flop has been Karius. Keita a disapointment but shown flashes of his best.

Love how penalty is given and Henderson picks up the ball and runs to Milner to give him the ball, '' save us Milly, Save us !! ''

You score em! :) Did say that? Maybe I did and maybe I wasn't expecting Sturridge to turn into wet paper.

    Lads, don't feed the troll...

I celebrated the ref blowing for that penalty like it was a goal. Never doubted Millie!

Delighted with that ending, Milner is ice, and that scuffle at the end - nobody taking a backward step ðŸ˜.

    Class.

Those scenes at the end between Klopp celebrating the winner and him fist pumping the Kop are such a far cry from his comments about fans leaving early after his loss against Crystal palace. Really shouldn’t be underestimated what he’s done at the club and the atmosphere he’s created.

If you’re watching an Emery/Solksjaer team each week, he clearly looks like a better manager.

I may have missed earlier posts saying the same but Lovren was good today, to be fair to him. I was worried when he was named in the team but he proved me wrong today. He is capable of it, just consistency is not his strong point.

I guess they have to start talking up their future manager so they can say they always liked him.

The funny thing is if Matip and Klavan were to join Arsenal they'd be instantly the best CBs at the club.
