Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bobby is the man. Kop sung his name for a good chunk of the game Friday. Great chant.

I thought I heard yesterday he'd be out for 6 weeks max.

    Was it confirmed?

    Could be worse I guess.

I was reading just there now that are checking on his Achilles tendon now as well. That would be a lot worse and could be 6 months to a season if the Achilles is done.

Yes Joyce is reporting that the medical staff are checking on his achilles as well.

Feels like Kloppy Balboa will be screaming for Adrian for a few months. I'd have preferred Mig.

For anyone interested in what Lallana would be like playing deeper Pogba is giving a good demonstration of it so far against Chelsea.

City will take 6 points off both these teams easily, we need to do the same.

Hard not to be a rashford fan.

    If you’re a Zaha fan there’s a good chance you’d be a Rashford fan.

Interesting to see if Chelsea get a reaction midweek after this spanking

League season is over now we are behind both Manchester clubs who will be unstoppable I knew we would bottle it after going top of the league on Friday night.

Fecking hell Utd are above Liverpool in the table.

Threw the league away by not scoring 8 against Norwich Friday.

    Jesus, Chelsea were dreadful.
Lampard might regret taking that job
We hopefully kill them on Wednesday and don't get any injuries courtesy of Barkley

Utd were woeful too, Chelsea were all over them in the 1st half and very unlucky to go in at the break losing. Only seen the last 20 minutes of the 2nd half and apart from a one two between Pogba and Martial they looked very average.

Lampard at Chelsea should be a warning for anyone yearning for Gerrard to succeed Klopp. Speaking of which Sheyi Ojo had a good game for Rangers today it seems. Made two and scored one in a route.

Tbf he's only been in charge for one Pl game.

Don't think he can be judged yet.

His Derby side were often somewhat shapeless in the middle and had almost no defensive discipline.

Agree with your sentiment on Gerrard replacing Klopp Harry. However I dont think Sheyi Ojo is the answer either.

He was never gonna turn it down but should have stayed put with Derby and taken it when it inevitably opens up next summer or whenever. Would have been able to spend a few quid then at least. Its not like another club where the job might not open upon for a decade.

Really? Can't see them finishing ahead of either Spurs or Arsenal, never mind both of them

Can't imagine they're would be many wanting that, however by that stage Gerrard will atleast have a couple years managing experience under his belt. Chelsea appointing Lampard after one seasons management was pretty senseless, although the cynic in me says he's just a fall guy for the year till their ban is done.

I get the impression that some people want Gerard to be a poor manager.
Nobody is calling for him to get the job as far as I have seen but if he turns out to be a great manager that will be great for Liverpool because he will pick us to manage.

He shouldn't get the Liverpool managers job straight out of Rangers. He'd be better off having three or four jobs beforehand to get more experience.

I wouldn't think there were many eyebrows raised when a young inexperienced Scott was given the top job at Liverpool.

Was it a league and cup double in his first season.

I actually fancy arsenal for 3rd ahead of spurs.
Utd and Chelsea won't be close to the top 4 come end of season

    New Inside Anfield vid.
Why aren't they slapping the sh!t out of the This is Anfield sign!:(
Only Hendo and Gini give it a little tap - are they waiting to win the league or what?

Can anyone make out the conversation between John Henry and Klopp around 3 mins in? Henry says something like 'So no transfers?' but its hard to make out what Klopps response was

It was an easy job. They were the best team in England by a long, long way. Everton and, later, Arsenal were the only teams capable of mounting a challenge to that domination over the period from the mid-eighties to the early nineties.

James Pearce posted on Twitter that Alisson is expected to be out for 4-8 weeks.

#LFC expecting to be without Alisson Becker for between 4 and 8 weeks depending on how quickly he heals. Club working on having Andy Lonergan on the bench for the Super Cup with Adrian starting.

Who ever takes over better be in same mould. It's only a English thing to throw away all the hard work of one manager and appoint a Hodgson who does it his way.
Barca only appoint those who keep the mould, we have to do the same. Club has changed from ground up since Klopp came in, that needs building on, not destroying.
