Clearly needs minutes just not as a starter on the evidence of Wednesday, also the front three starting means no game changer to spring forth, yes I know Origi is there But I'd have gone with him plus two and give Mane 30-35 minutes. I know he doesn't do tired but nothing wrong with being circumspect.

Well with Keita having his problems he needs to get the Ox up to scratch ASAP. He could give Shaq or Lallana a run but then again they're not going to be potential guaranteed starters like Chamberlain all going well.

High line clearly only works with Gomez in there alongside Virgil, Matip isn’t slow but he’s not on the same planet as the other two in terms of pace. They’ve targeted him with some success so far, exposing his one real weakness because he’s superb when we set up to defend a little deeper.

I can’t see us getting more than a point from this unless we change our entire setup in the second half. Dire performance but it’s not hugely surprising after Istanbul three days ago.
