Sale agreed on a property, awaiting engineers report.

He has suggested getting info in relation to the plumbing, house is vacant 6 months. oil heated, some of fittings are messy (copper and plastic), estate agent said no oil has been in tank the last 6 months.

Am I within my rights to ask estate agent to inform owner ill need to see certification of a plumber that everything is in order?

Or do I have to do this myself? silly question more than likely but just thought id ask to see if anyone else was in same situation

You can ask, but depending on how demand is you can also be told to go forth.

Or as one might say... "Jog on".
