    Bad smell around 'hair'.

    Nope.
2nd pic is 1 word, but it's 2 words of the solution.
The 3rd pic only works because of the first pic.
And the first pic - that's Brian Cox!
So if he improved his grades just a bit, what would he have?

Wait a sec. I just loaded that in another browser. Can you see the first pic? Cause I'm getting mixed results.... Seems fine on desktop but on mobile you only get about the first 5% of the pic... Not that it helps...

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

First pic I see Cox and I improved my grades and last pic is zoomed in on his face and about 25% of text

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,485 ✭✭✭✭Banjo

Well then, no more excuses, you have a you need :)

    It's not zoomed in

I figure it's something to do with Hannibal but I can't find a relevent quote of 4 words.

    Got a sixer

You want the scent? Smell yourself

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,485 ✭✭✭✭Banjo

I haven't seen Hannibal, and I don't mean the other Brian Cox. This is a cheap pun and a terrible clue, I'll admit, but its not a dingbat within a rebus wrapped in a Rubik's cube.

Too literal. But dangerously close to what I'm aiming for. Think similar thoughts but about his other shameful early notable acts.....

And when you're thinking "oh for ****s sake" remember, it seemed like a clever clue at the time

Throw us a dolly lure to catch a herring

Apparently there's a range of lures called dolly's but normally used for Alaskan trout

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,896 ✭✭✭✭Spook_ie

Jump to the wild side of logic now

Throw us the lure to catch a herring

T row US "the cure" 2 cat shhh a hare ring

The cure being a little mix single

The cure being a little mix single

    Another jump of logic

Throw us a sprat to catch a herring (Sprat rhyming with Brat)

The normal expression as I know it would be

Set (or use) a Sprat to catch a Mackeral

Why are you throwing "us" a sprat??

You have the right phrase just one extra word put in.

    Who will get there first..
