Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Were you ever in a situation where you just didn't know what was going on or what to do?

Oh aye! The first three-quarters of 2019! But everything unfolds as it should, etc. Etc.

    Where were you born?

For me joy I suppose, but I'm not sure if that's the case for everybody.

    Are you ready for Brexit?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

    I don't know.

Have you ever bought an Aldi/Lidl special offer item which you still use and like? Or one you regret buying?

    Any plans for the weekend?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I'm free if you'd like to make me coffee... :)

Serious answer, I had better catch up on work.

How does one get ready for Brexit, in a nutshell? That's the question :)

Christ no, teenage angst doesn't appeal to me.

What age would you like to be?

16, try it a different way and 16 is a good starting point.

What was your worst and best ever Job?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I dont know any New Years stories. Example please?

Not exactly a job but being a product tester is good. I never need to buy shampoo or...a lot of other things. Working for me is good apart from lack of company.

Brexit...I couldn't guess. Not my area of expertise.

    Do you wear Flowerbomb?

    I haven't smiled yet today..

Has your taste in music developed into a series of youtube suggestions?

Flowerbomb's so popular I seem to smell it everywhere.

I probably say "fiancee" and "ex" too much...there are words I overuse but I can't think of them now.

    I don't really swear.

How are your tree identification skills?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Terrible ... an apple tree (with the apples on it) is one of the few trees I’d be confident of recognising

    Were/are you a tree climber?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Not really tbh

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Not anymore. It takes a good mind to get into politics and a better mind to get out of it.

Should a historically accurate rebuilding plan have been chosen for Notre Dame cathedral, or do you like the modern rebuilding?

Is it not going to be historically accurate?..

Were you emotionally affected by that fire?
(I kind of was for some reason..)

(I know this is two questions, and I didn't answer the previous question, but I think I got away with it on a technicality..)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

I was happy no one was injured tbh.

Do you like the film “Moulin Rouge”?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Yes thankfully you're right it'll be in keeping with the original. They'd invited design submissions from the public and considered a contemporary design but chose to restore faithfully in the end :) which I agree with.

I was emotionally affected for some reason

I've never seen Moulin rouge...must be the only one :)

Will you watch any film at Christmas?

The original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory if I happen to see it on when I'm browsing the channels.
