Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't know if I scare easily.. maybe in some respects..

Can't remember the last time I was at a funeral..I tend to try to avoid them..

How would you like to die?

    Peacefully and quickly.

Do you ever consider how fleeting your life is?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

The best revenge is a life well lived...and THEN haunt them :D

I don't scare at all easily but I'm incredibly easily startled, ie. Jumpy.

I don't believe death is the end.

What's your view of revenge and grudges?

I wouldn't be one for revenge really..or holding a grudge, but there's a couple of things that I have trouble letting go of.. Not "Ahh, I hate you, fnck you..", just more "how could someone do that.." sort of thing..

Do you think people are selfish, for the most part?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

No, I really dont think so. Everyone has their own interests at heart but I think most people get pleasure from unselfless acts.

When is your last work day before christmas?

    Tomorrow.

Do you send Christmas cards to many people?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

I send very few Christmas cards tbh

Do you go out on the town on Stephen's night?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Not in a very long time. Its too messy now as you get older.

Do you play board games on Christmas night?

To thine own self be true

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    No - usually watch films

    Do you recycle much?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I think altruistism is rare enough but I think a lot of people are essentially decent overall.

I don't send cards...those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter. I do personalised things for people at different times of year instead.

Whatcha up to for the night?

    In a blaze of glory!

What would your ideal last meal be?

A tapas array of different taster dishes accompanied by rum and cola.

Do you have anyone coming home from abroad for Christmas?

Not including myself I complimented a fellow Boardsie a few minutes ago and I will compliment you too now Honeybear. I think you have a very good attitude to life, a cheery demeanour and the fact that you can get up out of bed to go for early morning walks in the cold impresses me as I do the same thing.

Was it weird that I said that?

Very sweet actually (I come from a family that are terrible at accepting compliments so it’s something I’m trying to improve on!)

    Favourite sweet?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

I like liquorice toffees, not the soft liquorice though.

im a great driver and even better alone

why is it almost heaven driving between the places than actually being in them?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I'm not sure but I guess it's a driver thing. As in people who really like driving.

Why is the journey back always shorter and faster than the journey there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Aged 4, Santa brought me my first bicycle with a lovely straw basket on the front. It was the business!

    Do you buy Christmas crackers?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Yes, we will buy some. But finding the right set is proving a tad tricky this year.

Would you be described as more of a goodie two shoes or more of a bad ass ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

I'd definitely be on Santa's nice list (However, sometimes ...)
