    Yes. I can

Do you be in regular contact with your siblings?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Yes. People shouldnt be driving alone yet if you cant parallel and reverse park in my opinion. Sorry if thats harsh but...have sat with people driving high speed and they dont have the ability to control it even without the stopping distance factor.

Have you dtiven any vehicle without power steering?

Yeah I've driven without power steering..I suck at parallel parking tbh..I don't talk to siblings too much anymore..

Have you jumpleads in your boot?

I have. I also struggle to parallel and reverse park but it has no bearing on me having control of the car even at above the speed limit. It takes me a few goes before I do it or give up.

    What do you currently drive?

No theyre two separate issues and I didnt mean to say theyre connected. But imo its good to be able to control it in general and people dont always respect whats involved in driving. Luckily i dont make the laws haha. Most of my friends and family would be banned if I did so Id have to take it back!

    A black saloon.

    CQD I do. Have jumpleads.

    You?

Ha :) in my case, it's a vintage BMW (or an ancient bmw if you prefer). I just like the feel of how they drive. Lots of bmw hate around though.

If you are male, do you have any interests in things like scent and fashion? Things that would be seen as typicall feminine interests in our culture?

Honestly no. My own clothes and scents are mostly picked for me. The only thing I pick for myself are my shoes, I'm particular about my shoes.

    Have you good fashion sense?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,227 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Probably not tbh

What is your favourite type of exotic animal?

I don't know if it counts as exotic but the elephant.
They love human contact and interaction which I think is amazing.

Have you been to Dublin zoo?

Do you swear much in the course of the day?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,363 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Constantly. I was raised on a farm so my language is quite 'agricultural'.

    Same question for next poster.

    Same answer as yours.

Do you not hear yourself swearing anymore?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

I’m very good during the school year but my standards slip during the holidays
Edit: I’m usually aware I’ve used bad language by people’s reactions ... they are not used to me swearing
What country’s language appeals to you?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,363 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

No, it's second nature to me. Although in my job, I have to be very professional and I can abstain there so maybe I should try harder.

I don't see enough film to have a favourite but Tommy Lee Jones' swagger makes me smile. He's got character. I like Michelle Pfieffer a lot too.

    I havent seen Brooklyn, sorry
The wind's at ease here tonight

Have you ever won more than, say, 100 in a scratch card?

Purple, I've met people from Boards so there's at least a few real people apart from me in this simulation :)

Sorry, my phone just showed other questions after Purple's.

Reregs jump straight in with provocative threads and posts and have a low post count of course.

No, I don't buy scratch cards. Or gamble at all really. Hate the crashing disappointment of not winning the national lottery haha.

Can you tell if someone you are talking to had low self-esteem?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I can tell if they are feeling low in or about themselves at that point in time. Low self esteem comes and goes I think.

    Can you?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,227 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

I'm not sure tbh. Sometimes I think I can, other times I'm completely clueless.

What would be a tell tale sign of low self-esteem, in your opinion?

Talking negatively about oneself and an inability to say no.

    Are you concerned?
