Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Narcissism where fame matters over the ability to be good at anything.

Do you print off your photos and put them in an album or photo frame?

I send away for them online and put them in albums.

Have you many photos of your childhood?

A fair few lying around my mother’s place.

Do you think people can change?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Oh yes, definitely people can change. As we get older our attitudes and outlook change. Things we used to dislike become things we like. Same with people. But I don’t think anyone can change their core nature. A plain nasty person will always be just that – at heart. A kind and caring person will always be that.

Are you more optimist than pessimist?

I’m optimistic about small things and pessimistic about big things.

Are you more introverted or extroverted?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

I did one of those personality tests. Myers Briggs. It said I am more extroverted. But I think I am changable. Some days I would want nothing more than to be alone, others I would want to be at the front of the parade.

Right now would you prefer a lazy day or an adventure day?

  • Registered Users Posts: 292 ✭✭Hippykitten

Adventure day atm (nothing heights/water wise though)

Do you like your boss? or Are you a nice boss? (whatever pertains to you)

Do you like to eat out a lot?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Once a week keeps it special. If I ate out a lot I doubt I would appreciate it as much. Or afford it.

Any good tv shows that you would recommend to watch tonight?

An elderly neighbour of my parents. She'd talk the ear of ya.

Does that make me a bit scummy?

    No, not at all.

I'm not sure Bertie. Nothingness but I don't like to think that. Something a little unsettling for me to think there was nothing. Vast empty blackness stretching out.

It's too large a question for someone of my limited intellect to contemplate Persepoly, particularly if "God" is entered into the equation. Perhaps there is an indefinable energy behind it all.

Do you believe Lyric FM is becoming less esoteric and dumbing down by pandering to the masses?

Will John Williams win the Oscar?

Mahler at this point in time, fluctuates according to mood.

Do you find 'Operation Transformation' to be exploitative television?

I find it weirder that the symbol used to denote it astrologically is like a 69 on its side, really. Seems more suited to gemini.

    What is your favourite smell?

    Honeysuckle.

Aries sun Scorpio moon. A fire and water sign. Sometimes I'm drowning, sometimes I'm boiling.

Do all of your cups match?

Would you rather take your chances being (very) close to an errupting volcano or bushfire?

    I'd pick the bushfire.

Would you rather be nearly drowned or nearly saved?

Well having nearly drowned a (fair) few years ago as an adult and still having nightmares and occasional panic atracks I wouldn’t pick that. But of course nearly saved implies you die... I think I’ll picknearly saved -it could be from a trip or accident or paint falling in your head from a ladder -far more scope.

    Nearly saved.

Given the chance to change sex entirely -not by adding plastic parts or chopping off bits but by magic wand -would you do it? However it would be forever - You would not be allowed to change back. You could choise to physicallylook however you wanted.
