Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm watching Nathan Carter in concert on TV now, there's something very wholesome about him. Easy on the eye and talented to boot!

Have you ever been to a tarot card reading? And if so, did what they "see" for you come true?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

Not at all any more ( since two years ). Sure there'll be none left in 30 odd years.

Why do you think humans are so bad at empathy?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Tbh, the people I associate with are very good at empathy. I steer clear of those that don't

I'll give you mine, I can't wear earrings.

Do you think it's daft to spend thousands on an item of jewelry, like an engagement ring for example?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

Engagement ring yeah. Less so as an investment.

I'm a soldier, so I dress in a camo uniform every day.. I'm also a Judoka so I dress up in a Judo suit a number of times a week.. Costumes to some.

But realistically I dressed as Santa for a few motorbike charity rides over the Christmas.

Are you seeing a stretch in the evenings yet? (I am)

Have you ever tried surfing? Is it something you would be interested in?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

Do you think GDPR is a good thing or a bad thing?

How does one politely nudge visitors on their way?

Yawning or keep saying "Is that the time?"

Do your visitors bring nice things or come with one hand longer than the other?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

I actually prefer they come empty handed because I don't really like sweet things so I rather see empty hands.
Summer visitors and home grown products always welcome!

    Do you own a dishwasher?

The lovely visitors bring gorgeous company and very appropriate & unexpected gifts. Its the impromptu visitors that kill me ... they stay a LONG time!
Edit: Having washed dishes growing up for a very big family, I couldn't do without one now
    Ever have a wardrobe malfunction?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,309 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

When I was bridesmaid and the flowers left a watermark down my front from where they had been kept in water.
Cue a gaggle of women around me wiping it down.

Edit.. Send one of us your phone number. We'll ring you with an 'emergency' to drive the visitors out!
