Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

With an E Cloth, they're brilliant. No products needed. I got them from an Irish website but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention...

    No fidget spinner
No Id hate to have someone cleaning my mess so to speak

Ever been bitten or stung by anything?

Ever been bitten or stung by anything?

I have been stung by a bee twice, sat on one once. Stung by nettles numerous times as a kid.

    Ever need stitches?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Yes, twice when I was a wee fella. Got milled of the bike once and milled off a fireplace another time.

Is there silence, music or background noise where you are now?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Surgical stitches twice, and ripped my index finger open rolling a cut down tree. Left a silver scar in the shape of a crescent moon :)

    There's music.
    Ever had surgery?

I've had surgery 3 times, and wisdom teeth removed if that counts as surgery.

    What's the weather like?

Thanks Seph, I'd love a mug of Lyons :)

    Have you biscuits?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,608 ✭✭✭✭The Princess Bride

No biscuits, but have some Gateaux chocolate mini cream rolls.

    Do you fancy one?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Yes I do. But I want two of them. In a bowl. Drenched in hot custard.

    How does that sound?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

Quite awful. I've never had a sweet tooth( never had a filling either).

    Scariest moment of your life?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Reading that you dont like the sound of mini rolls drenched in custard is up there in my life's scariest moments. Along with a helicopter ride with a pilot who seemed drunk.

Would you be a bit afraid of going in a helicopter or do you reckon it would be great fun?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Was the pilot Russian, by any chance?
Not scared of helicopter trips at all
What's a good driving song for a longer journey?

Would you rather lose your sense of taste or sense of smell - if you had to choose?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

    Taste. I like perfumes etc.
Have you ever interfered with your eyebrows in any way? Tweezed them dyed them etc

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

No. I was taken aback recently when a lady barber asked would I like my ear hair trimmed. I'm not even old! I finger pluck them now. A brief but delightful pain ensues...

When you think of someone 'middle-aged', what age do you immediately think?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

A year older than me and up to 65.

    Do you act your age?

I used to be but then I realised how many horses fall and don't get up, run through rails, snap their fore limbs and brust blood vessels all to the delight of the crowd, I despise it.

    Do you?

Hate slots, most boring type of gambling.

    Are you afraid of death?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,608 ✭✭✭✭The Princess Bride

    Not in the slightest.

Is there any point in fearing the inevitable?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,497 ✭✭✭auspicious

Surely all animals experience what we would describe as fear - an inbuilt evolutionary response to avoid anything that would compromise survival/wellbeing.
Human foresight allows us to prepare for and mitigate negative situations. I guess it's intrinsic to what life is.
We don't want fear but it can't be helped I guess.

    Any phobias?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,608 ✭✭✭✭The Princess Bride

I tend to be a tad claustrophobic, if an exit isn't easily accessible.

    You?
