What topics are taboo for your coffee break at work?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Nothing really ... we do have a laugh. Obviously, if the parish priest is there, we're (a bit) more careful!

How many coffees would you drink on average every day?

    A bad dose of indigestion.......

Is the first of February the start of spring, in your opinion?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Hmmm ... don't think the weather forecasters agree, but I think of February as the beginning of Spring. Of course, it usually snows then!

Who is your favourite weather forecaster?

I like Jean Whatsherface because of her style.

Have you ever used 'pinch, punch first of the month, no returns?'

My brain hurts while trying to think what that means.

    Do I dare ask?

    It's pretty benign.

First day of the month you give your friend/partner/wife a little pinch and playfull punch on the shoulder. This usually gets a "you bas***d" response when they realise they can't do it back.

I have no plans. Feeling pretty down after a breakup and hibernating a bit. A walk might actually be a good idea.

Any tips for getting over a relationship?

Time and distraction are the best healers imo.

    Happy birthday princess!

Do you like Cadbury creme eggs?

Try to focus on their bad points. Rose tinted glasses might make you hyper focus on good points which are probably exagerrated anyway.
Remember who you were before you even knew they existed.

Will you be doing anything to mark Imbolc or Bridget's Day?

    In.

I'm an introvert, and a busy man. I love nothing more than a quiet night at home with a nice glass of wine. Seems such a luxury these days.

How about you? Introvert or Extrovert?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Extrovert at the very far end of the scale bordering on introvert.
