Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In my day, a pound would get you a can of Coke, an ice pop and a bagful of penny sweets.

I did but life took me a different (better, hopefully) path.
The one I had chosen would not serve me well now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    What are they about?

    From some random web site

"Nearly 5.5 million hectares are ablaze, mostly in Siberia, with smoke clouds covering more than 5 million square kilometers, more than the size of the European Union, the UN’s authoritative World Meteorological Organization said in a tweet on August 11."

Will you phone Joe Duffy for me about this ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

I doubt it - me and Joe see things differently

Have you been able to "talk to Joe"?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,215 ✭✭✭khalessi

Years ago was asked to talk on show about cruelty to animals but was too shy so gave them details

No I did well. 525 points at the time.

What did you get in your LC?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Less than 300

Do you think the leaving cert, as it is, is out dated?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,215 ✭✭✭khalessi

I think it works and should be left alone.
The continous assessment model for junior cert is now known as continous harrassment so probaly needs returning to old structure

    What was your favourite subject
