Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What's your view on fortune tellers? Do they believe in it themselves?

Fortune tellers are good at being able to tell how much they can make off their target, that is about it,heh.

Have you ever visited a psychic?

Nothing unusual, first it's a murder of crows, until 3 magpies chase them all away. Followed by the clean up crew of pigeons.

I don't think so since so many are being trafficked into it.

Ever celebrate Day of the Dead?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Might be wrong but iirc prostitution is legal from the prostitute's side, its the 'client' whos commiting a crime. Which is preferable to the other way around.

No. Just the Irish Halloween. The aesthetics has caught on a bit among friends who are into design. The colours and skull designs are eye catching..but it has no deeper meaning for them. Is that cultural appropriation?

Im not sure what dubbed is but subtitles are important for hearing impaired people.

Not bothered either way. If Australia was easier to get to Id spend a week there but I'm not mad about cooking myself in the heat . A hot Irish summer would be just right.

Ever taken a photo of a stranger for any reason?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

I have taken pictures of things that happen to have strangers in them. But don’t think I ever took a picture solely of someone who was a stranger without their implied permission.

Has this felt like a long week for you?

An old toolbox, still had tools in it,heh.

Over the years have rescued a few animals and one hawk and a Gila Monster.

    Same question for you?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I'll have to google gila monster :)
A nest of baby hares whose mother was killed when a digger bucket crashed into the nest, a solitary hare who adopted me of its own accord, and a crow. My dog is technically a rescued dog, I found her half starved and trying to eat roadkill in the path of heavy traffic. My ginger cat was found as a kitten, dropped in a puddle.

Do you use any old fashioned household tips?
