Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Finance, to cut taxes and give tax incentives to good causes.

At 5 (wasn't meant to be working but helping a friend out)

In a two way conversation, which are you most likely to be, a talker or a listener?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

A balance between both but if theyre the type to monopolise the conversation I tend to let big mouths and self absorbed droners just run on.and on unchecked, which I intend to change in future. You then get labelled as quiet all because you sat with your eyes glazing over due to their bad manners and selfishness.

Do you believe in taking revenge?

    No..

Do you ever have difficulty expressing anger?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,050 ✭✭✭Ruby Ring

No. If someone hurts me I steer clear of them so that it won't happen again.
I rarely get angry. When angry, I tend to go much quieter than usual. Family, friends & colleagues know me well at this stage
Are you quick to say sorry when in the wrong?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

    No..

Do you ever have difficulty expressing anger?

I have difficulty feeling anger at all. Its very controlled due to the nature of my wprk in the past. I dont feel and express it at times when I really should. Anger manifests as sadness.

Yes Im willing to.apologise when its warranted

Have you ever had a stalker or so.eone with an infatuation with you?

Have you ever received an anonymous letter?

Yes, but I forget every detail, which is odd.

Have you ever healed from a broken heart?

No, I don't think so..had my heart broken badly a couple of times, and I've kind of lost hope..
(I've actually had more than one stalker now that I think of it..)

Would you be more optimistic or pessimistic?

    I know the feeling.

Very optimistic in general but sort of cynical about big things like love.

    Are you optimistic?

No,..I used to kind of think things would kind of work out, but yeah, I'm too cynical too now..

Does not being able to think of a question ever stop you answering a question?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Not at all. Frequently get a great answer typed up and then have strugle to think of a good question.

    Are you a confident person?

    What's your favorite foreign film?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

It has happened, more in a waiting room than public transport.

Do you think theres danger in dating sites?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,608 ✭✭✭✭The Princess Bride

There's danger in everything if you don't have your wits about you, dating sites are no different.

Ever had success on a dating site?

    Jean de Florette

(have no need for dating sites and they didn't exist when I did need one!)

Do you know anyone who fell in love at first sight?

Yes, my ex husband and an ex boyfriend told me they did, with me. My ex husbands friend said he did the day he first met me.
I did, with my fiancee and another man I'm not in a relationship with. And with my girlfriend. It sounds bonkers written down like that.

Do you believe in chemistry between people?

It couldn't work anywhere but I can think of a couple of people who should go to the gulag.

Do you have a dedicated shelf/cupboard for medicines/first aid/healthcare supplements? Do you have a 1st aid box?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,608 ✭✭✭✭The Princess Bride

I have both, a shelf in a press in the bathroom with everything on it, and 2 portable First Aid boxes, 1 in the house and 1 in the car.

Would you be confident to do CPR if necessary?

    Ah, I'd chance my arm..

Were you in hospital in the last couple of years?

I do but it's very basic, thankfully so far I haven't needed it.

    Oldest car you owned?
