Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2 sisters & I shared around 2k once. T’was lovely ... think most of it was spent celebrating!

Have you any particular number of personal significance?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,105 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Not really but I am a creature of habit so reuse the same numbers for pins etc.

Are you a creature of habit?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

    Definitely.

What’s the most spontaneous thing you’ve done?

Turn up at the airport and take a flight.

    What about you?

Entered a big Texas Holdem competition with very limited experience. When I think back ... the other players must have thought all their birthdays had come.

    Ever play?

    No never.

    Did it cost you much?

Can’t really recall ... think the experience was a bit overwhelming at the time. We were going through a poker phase and you’d recognise players from TV.

Can you keep a straight face when telling a (white) lie or trying to play a joke on someone?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭jimbobaloobob

    No I'm terrible at it.

    What's the plan for today's dinner ?

Yep. Sometimes I use it to “test” the gullibility of my friends by stating spurious “facts” and seeing will they cop :pac:

Would you rather be very good at the harmonica or alright at guitar?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

    No plan for dinner yet.
Used to laugh at my sister trying to learn the guitar but it’s an instrument that would have been great in my job ... kids love watching teachers play it as they learn a new song.

    Are you musical?

Absolutely not. I can't even clap in time.

    Best concert you've been to?

Yes I am. Can play piano, guitar , harmonica and whistles.

    Biggest fear?

Are you sure about that first bit hahah
And I’m an alright singer, can read some piano music but otherwise no I don’t play an instrument or anything

    Your favourite song lyric?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Can’t choose. Know someone who really focuses on the lyrics in songs. I don’t really pay much attention to the lyrics, it’s the music for me. Have to be careful though - sometimes I’ll comment that I LOVE a particular song only to be told it’s lyrics are REALLY inappropriate!

What is your most annoying bad habit?

    The 8th Day.

Is people posting "what about you" or "have you", or some variant of that as question they just answered just pure laziness, unoriginal and lacking imagination?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,215 ✭✭✭khalessi

Nope as sometimes they are giving the op the chance to answer their own question

    Do you? :D

No, sometimes they are giving the op the chance to answer their own question.

Who is your least favourite member of you direct family (limit the list to parents, siblings, your own kids)?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,215 ✭✭✭khalessi

Honestly I don't have one. We all get on and piss each other off at different times but there is no person that is least favourite.

What would be the coolest animal to scale up to the size of a horse?

That would be just creepy so I wouldn't choose any.

Do you expect good customer service?

Depends on which company it is and honestly it also depends on where their call centre is based.

Do you dread ringing call centres in case you get someone on the other side of the world.

I don't mind that as such. What bothers me is the queuing system.

    Are you a patient person?

No I dread ringing in case I get an idiot.

Re patience depends on situation but mostly yes

Sat in front of a lunch I had prepared and refused to eat it. Didn't even attempt to move the food around the plate in an effort to look good.
Their excuse was that they ate on their way to my house, even though I had told them what was waiting for them and asked if they liked it.
    Epitome of rude.

Good question, so same to next poster.

My eyes. So I could spy on some people without them knowing.

What's your best body asset in your opinion?

Salad for me. Trying to be good ... it’s either a feast or a famine.
    Hens & ducks here.
Someone tell me they are doing something exciting this evening? -I’ve been roped into “doing a favour”

    Yes

    Can you?

No! As a matter of fact I have a terrible fear of drowning!

If you identify as straight, how far did you "go" with a member of the same sex? Same question to any gay readers picking up on the thread, what was your furthest experience with a member of the opposite sex? (before everyone called a halt to it of course, lol)
