Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Excluding kiddie fidders, rapists, murders and domestic abusers, fraudsters too I think I'd give most people a second chance.

Is the pen mightier than the sword in your opinion?.

Maybe. But the sword is quicker.

Have you ever been to a rugby international at the Aviva (or when it was Lansdowne Road either?)

I have indeed but not many times. It was good as you could have beer at the game as opposed to Ireland soccer internationals where that was not allowed.

If an Alsatian dog starts running towards you on the street would you:
    1) Ignore it
    2) Get ready to pet it and a big hug
    3) Run like fcuk

I think I'd feel more comfortable around them if I was used to handling them. Friend has a German Shepherd and I have changed my preconceptions of this breed since meeting them regularly.

    Did you watch Crufts?

    Nope.

I don't particularly like breeds commonly used as attack dogs. I know there are good natured rottweilers etc but I still wonder about the owners. Sometimes it indicates an adversarial outlook on life.

Do people seem to match their dogs?

I wouldn't think so. I have three very different dogs with very different personalities. I was working with a Rottweiler recently that I feel I really bonded with. She's in a rescue looking for a home.. thinking about taking her. She's wonderful. Definitely a softer, gentler girl than me! :D

But on the thought that people could match their dogs... What breed matches you?

    It's the eyes (huskies).

Have you rescued pets from an animalshelter?

Yeah. All five of my pets are rescues. One dog straight from the pound, two (one dog, one cat) straight from rescues, one dog my gran aunt got from a rescue a few years back and when she got too ill to care for her anymore last year I took her and one cat was found by a truck driver in the axle of his truck and the local rescue had no one free to collect him so I went and picked him up and hes still with me years later. I took another dog from a rescue and she lives with my mam. She has another couple of rescues too.

We used to always keep pure breds but with so many in pounds and shelters now I just can't in good conscience do that anymore. Animals are 100% my weak point. Only living creature I can't bring myself to love is spiders!

    What's your weakness??

Oops missed Sephs questions. I don't like paranormal talk or any kind of horror movies. I'm a total chicken and so easily scared! :(

Nope. My brother will be going into self imposed isolation soon though due to a compromised immune system. Fortunately he can work from home and his company is very supportive.

When a mod replies to your post saying : do not post in this thread again or giving you a yellow card.. how do you know they've done it if you don't see the post? Do you get a pm as well or something??

Nope. It was the right decision. I'm not interested in them anyway. Haven't been to one in years.

I'm about to have some apple crumble and custard. Would you like some?

I won electric picnic tickets one year and sold them off on eBay.

People hide and then the finder stays near a can or some object like a fence or something but goes looking for people and if they see you they shout "tip the can I see whoever" and the hiders have to try and tip the can without the finder seeing them.

Did that make sense or I was I just speaking a load of bolony?

Yes that makes sense. Sounds like fun.

Do you miss being able to just meet up with strangers and suggesting they join you in play?
(I didn't mean that to sound like it does! )
